	Treherne, Manitoba Treherne is an unincorporated urban community in the Municipality of Norfolk Treherne within the Canadian province of Manitoba that held town status prior to January 1, 2015. It is halfway between Winnipeg and Brandon on Provincial Highway 2. Primarily a farming community, Treherne has a significant portion of the municipality's population, which is around 1750 people, Official Treherne Website and has two schools (Treherne Elementary School and Treherne Collegiate Institute) and a hospital. There is also a daycare facility, and in 2006 Treherne opened the Treherne Aquatic Centre next to a campground facility. Treherne is named for George Treherne, an early settler. First forgeries Treherne appears to have entered the forgery business about 1902 or slightly earlier when he was working as a clerk in Brighton. He would have been aged about 18 in 1902. Treherne at first produced only fake overprints and surcharges, or imperforate whole stamps as he lacked perforating or rouletting equipment and the overprints and surcharges only required simple printing in black ink. Later he moved on to more sophisticated forgeries. 	Treherne Parker Treherne Edward Parker (born 4 October 1968) is an English former cricketer. Parker made a single List A one-day appearance for the Combined Universities cricket team in their first match of the 1989 Benson & Hedges Cup against Surrey at Fenner's. He was dismissed without scoring in the Combined Universities innings by Mark Feltham, while in Surrey's innings he bowled four wicketless overs which conceded 30 runs. He did not feature for the team in the remainder of the competition, with the Combined Universities progressing to the quarter-finals. He later played minor counties cricket for Suffolk in 1995 and 1996, making ten appearances in the Minor Counties Championship and a single appearance in the MCCA Knockout Trophy The National Counties Cricket Association Knockout Cup was started in 1983 as a knockout one-day competition for the National Counties in English cricket.
