Trayal Corporation ( sr, Трајал Корпорација, Trayal Korporacija) is a company manufacturing tires, protective devices and industrial explosives based in Kruševac, Serbia. History Trayal Corporation was founded in 1889 in Kruševac as a "Gunpowder Works". In 2006, the Government of Serbia sold 76.9% of shares of the company to the Bulgarian Brikel (owned by the businessman Hristo Kovachki) for a sum of 12.1 million euros, with the obligation to invest 25.1 million euros. At the time, Trayal Corporation had 3,500 employees in five divisions. However, over the years, most of the production was significantly reduced due to poor management. In 2011, the American tire manufacturing company Cooper Tire & Rubber Company took automobile tire facilities of Trayal for a sum of 13 million euros. Fudbalski klub Trayal (Serbian Cyrillic: Фудбалски клуб Трајал) is a professional football club from Kruševac, Serbia. They currently compete in the Serbian First League, the second tier of the national league system. History The football club was formed in 1933 as a part of the "Obilićevo" sports association. It was named after the local gunpowder company "Obilićevo". They played the first match in November 1933 and beat Trgovački, also from Kruševac, with 6–0. After World War II the gunpowder company changed name to "Miloje Zakić" and by mid-70s developed into what is today a tire manufacturer Trayal Corporation. The football club changed its name accordingly to Trayal. The club remained in local and regional leagues for most of its history until after the NATO bombing of Yugoslavia. Kruševac ( sr-cyr, Крушевац, , tr, Alacahisar or Kruşevca) is a city and the administrative center of the Rasina District in central Serbia.
