Víctor Manuelle
Víctor Manuel Ruiz Velázquez (born September 27, 1968), known professionally as Víctor Manuelle, is an American salsa musician, known to his fans as ''El Sonero de la Juventud'' ("The Singer Of Youths"). He is identified primarily with '' salsa romántica or "salsa monga".'' Víctor Manuelle has neither recorded in English, nor made a Latin pop album, nor (with rare exceptions) ventured into acting, preferring to remain a musician grounded within salsa music. Discovery and early career Ruiz is the son of Víctor Manuel Ruiz, Sr. (1939-2018) and Jenny Velásquez. Both parents are Puerto Ricans and he has a brother called Héctor Gustavo Ruiz. Although born in New York City, Victor was raised primarily in Isabela, Puerto Rico, where he enjoyed salsa music. Thomas Edward "Shorty" McWilliams (May 12, 1926 – January 9, 1997) was an American football player who played one season with the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the eighth round of the 1948 NFL Draft and the Los Angeles Dons in the 16th round of the 1948 AAFC Draft. He played college football at Mississippi State University and the United States Military Academy. Early years and college McWilliams attended Meridian High School in Meridian, Mississippi. McWilliams first played for the Mississippi State Bulldogs of Mississippi State University in 1944 and again from 1946 to 1948. He recorded career totals of 1,808 rushing yards and 19 rushing touchdowns for the Bulldogs.
