Traugott Oberer (30 November 1924 – 19 April 1974) was a Swiss footballer who played as a forward or, in later years, as midfielder during the 1940s and 1950s. Club football Oberer started his football with FC Basel and advanced to their first team in their 1941–42 season under Manager Eugen Rupf. After one test match, Oberer played his domestic league debut for the club in the home game at the Landhof on 26 August 1941 as Basel won 5–1 against Concordia Basel. He scored his first league goal for his club one week later on 2 November in the away game against SC Zug. It was the winning goal and Basel won 1–0. Oberer transferred out and continued his playing career with Montreux-Sports, who played one league lower. He remained with Montreux for two seasons. For Basel's 1944–45 season Oberer transferred back to his club of origin. But the season ran badly and they were relegated at the end of it. Traugott Lawler (born 8 March 1937) is a medievalist scholar, expert on William Langland, and an emeritus professor of English at Yale University, where he served as master of Ezra Stiles College and also as a lecturer in religion and literature. Biography Lawler graduated from Regis High School in 1954, and then attended the College of the Holy Cross, graduating with a B.A. in 1958, and the University of Wisconsin–Madison (M.A. 1962). He obtained his doctorate at Harvard University. In 1983, Lawler was named a Guggenheim Fellow. From 1986 to 1995, and from 2002 to 2003 he served as Master of Ezra Stiles College. He retired from teaching in 2005 to prepare, with other scholars, a commentary on the known versions of ''Piers Plowman''. The book was released by University of Pennsylvania Press. Traugott Herr (16 September 1890 – 13 April 1976) was a German general during World War II who commanded the 14th Army and the 10th Army of the Wehrmacht. He was a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves and Swords. Traugott Maximilian Eberwein (27 October 1775 – 2 December 1831), was a German composer and conductor, who is attributed with the start of early musical history in Rudolstadt. Family Eberwein was born into a musical family, his father Alexander Bartholomäus Eberwein (1751-1811) was a court musician and his brother Carl Eberwein was a composer who frequently worked with Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, putting his work into music such as Faust.
