The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) was formed by the decree number 17 for the year 2005. RTA is responsible for planning and providing the requirements of transport, roads & traffic in the Emirate of Dubai, and between Dubai and other Emirates of the UAE, neighboring countries in order to provide an effective & an integrated transport system. The Public Transport Agency provides public transport with a total of 1,616 buses. The PTA uses an expanded network of 119 internal lines, including 35 lines connecting to municipal stations, 12 city lines to transport passengers to other emirates, 62 internal lanes and 8 fast lines. Mercedes-Benz has been producing buses since 1895 in Mannheim in Germany. Since 1995 Mercedes-Benz buses and coaches is a brand of EvoBus GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of Daimler Truck. The Burj Al Arab ( ar, برج العرب, ''Arab Tower'') is a luxury hotel located in the city of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Managed by Jumeirah hotel group, it is one of the tallest hotels in the world, although 39% of its total height is made up of non-occupiable space. Burj Al Arab stands on an artificial island that is from Jumeirah Beach and is connected to the mainland by a private curving bridge. Dubai Marina ( ar, مرسى دبي), aka Marsa Dubai, is a district in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is an artificial canal city, built along a stretch of Persian Gulf shoreline. As of 2018, it has a population of 55,052. When the entire development is complete, it will accommodate more than 120,000 people in residential towers and villas. It is located on Interchange 5 between Jebel Ali Port and the area which hosts Dubai Internet City, Dubai Media City, and the American University in Dubai. D 94, also known as King Salman bin Abdulaziz al Saud Street, Jumeirah Road or Jumeirah Beach Road, and formerly Al Sufouh Road is a road in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The road runs parallel to Dubai's coast along the Persian Gulf and along E 11 (Sheikh Zayed Road), connecting the sub-localities of Jumeirah (Jumeirah 1, 2 and 3). Once it enters the locality of Al Sufouh, D 94 becomes known as King Salman bin Abdulaziz al Saud Street. Dubai Tram
The Dubai Tram ( ar, ترام دبي) is a tramway located in Al Sufouh, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It runs for along Al Sufouh Road from Dubai Marina to the Palm Jumeirah and Al Sufouh. The tram connects with the DMCC and Sobha Realty stations of the Dubai Metro's Red Line, and two more stations are expected to connect with the tram in the future.
