Transport within Leeds consists of extensive road, bus and Urban rail in the United Kingdom, rail networks. The city has good rail and road links to the rest of the country. Leeds railway station is one of the busiest in Britain, and Leeds is connected to the national road network via the A1(M) motorway, M1 motorway and M62 motorway. The city is served by Leeds Bradford Airport. Leeds has less extensive public transport coverage than other UK cities of comparable size, and is the largest city in Europe without any form of light rail or underground. The A647 is an A road in West Yorkshire, England that begins in Leeds and ends in Halifax. The road is long. Route The road begins at the Armley Gyratory and goes via Armley, by-passes Stanningley and Pudsey, then onwards via Thornbury to the edge of Bradford city centre. The road then becomes part of the Bradford's Inner Ring Road (''Croft Street'') heading through Great Horton and up to Queensbury ( above sea level) before heading down hill via Boothtown to Halifax town centre. History In June 2016 the CS1 Cycle Superhighway opened from Bradford to Leeds, for the most part following the corridor of the A647. London North Eastern Railway
London North Eastern Railway (LNER) is a British train operating company. It is owned by the DfT OLR Holdings for the Department for Transport (DfT). Hull Paragon Interchange is a transport interchange providing rail, bus and coach services located in the city centre of Kingston upon Hull, England. The G. T. Scarborough Railway Station
Scarborough railway station, formerly Scarborough Central, is a Grade II listed station serving the seaside town of Scarborough, North Yorkshire. Liverpool Lime Street Railway Station
Liverpool Lime Street is a terminus railway station and the main station serving the city centre of Liverpool. Opened in August 1836, it is the oldest still-operating grand terminus mainline station in the world.
