Transit (Sponge Cola Album)
''Transit'' is the second studio album by the Pinoy rock band Sponge Cola, released on September 8, 2006, and their first under Universal Records. The album was certified Platinum by the Philippine Association of the Record Industry (PARI) with sales of 40,000 physical CD copies to date. ''Transit'' spawned a carrier single, "Bitiw", which was released to radio stations on August 23. In 2008, ''Transit'' was re-released as ''Transit Deluxe'', which features additional songs, acoustic versions of songs, a cover song by APO Hiking Society, and a radio edit version, as well as a Video CD (VCD) containing music videos. In late 2013, ''Transit Deluxe'' was re-issued as part of ''Palabas & Transit Collection'', a release that also includes the standard edition of Sponge Cola's debut album ''Palabas''; this release does not include a VCD. Sponge Cola
Sponge Cola (sometimes spelled Spongecola) is a Filipino rock band formed in 2002. The band is composed of Yael Yuzon on vocals and guitars, Gosh Dilay on bass, Armo Armovit on guitars and drummer Tedmark Cruz. One of the most popular rock bands in the Philippines, Sponge Cola has produced a number of hit songs, including "Jeepney", "KLSP", "Gemini", "Bitiw", "Tuliro", "Di Na Mababawi", "Tambay", "Kay Tagal Kitang Hinintay", and "XGF". The band's debut album, ''Palabas'', was released in 2004. It was followed by ''Transit'' (2006) and ''Sponge Cola'' (2008), the latter of which was the last to feature their original drummer Chris Cantada. APO Hiking Society
The Apolinario Mabini Hiking Society, later popularly known as APO Hiking Society, or simply APO, was a Filipino musical group and one of the pillars of Original Pilipino Music (Original Pilipino Music, OPM) composed of Danny Javier†, Jim Paredes, and Boboy Garrovillo. Kristine Zhenie Lobrigas Tandingan-Monterde (born March 11, 1992), mononymously known as KZ, is a Filipino singer and rapper hailed as Asia's Soul Supreme. She rose to prominence following her win on the first season of ''The X Factor Philippines'' in 2012. That same year, she won Aliw Award for Best New Artist. Your Face Sounds Familiar (Philippine TV Series)
''Your Face Sounds Familiar'' is a singing and impersonation competition for celebrities and is based on the Spanish version of the same name. It debuted on March 14, 2015, on ABS-CBN, replacing ''The Voice of the Philippines''. Luis Manzano currently serves as host since Season 3. It was Originally hosted by Billy Crawford for the first two seasons, and for the second season, also co-hosted by Melai Cantiveros. Jed Madela, Gary Valenciano and Sharon Cuneta served as the show's judges for the first two seasons. In '' Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids'', Ogie Alcasid replaces Madela, while Valenciano and Cuneta reprised their roles as judges. The Kids season premiered on January 7, 2017. Your Face Sounds Familiar (Philippine Season 2)
The second season of ''Your Face Sounds Familiar'' was a singing and impersonation competition for celebrities on ABS-CBN. Sharon Cuneta, Gary Valenciano and Jed Madela reprise their duties as judges. Billy Crawford also returns as host; however, he is accompanied by Melai Cantiveros, the winner of the first season. The show replaced the second season of ''The Voice Kids'' and began airing on September 12, 2015. After 14 weeks, Denise Laurel emerged as the winner after garnering 27.51% of the public's votes. Laurel is the only contestant who did not win in any weekly competition of the show, meaning she received no prizes before the conclusion of the grand showdown. Pedro Penduko is a Filipino comic book character styled as a folk hero or superhero, created by National Artist for Literature Francisco V. Coching and debuted on the magazine ''Liwayway''. In his numerous incarnations, Pedro Penduko is an ordinary human being with no superpowers. He is, however, resourceful and quick-witted in battling evil forces. He is aided by a magical amulet (known as ''Mutya'' in the television series). He is first introduced in the 1994 and 2000 films as a descendant of a family of legendary heroes but is a coward. In the television version however, Pedro is the son of a mortal and a lambana (fairy) whose adventure begins as he starts searching for his lost father.
