Wheel-Trans is a paratransit system in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, provided by the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC). It provides specialized door-to-door accessible transit services for persons with physical disabilities using its fleet of accessible minibuses or contracted accessible taxis. Users must register with the TTC who will typically grant access to those with permanent disabilities or show difficulty in traveling short distances. Wheel-Trans only provides service within the city of Toronto and accepts regular TTC fare. York Region Transit Mobility Plus is a program that offers transit services, known as ''Mobility Plus'', to the disabled using specially equipped buses. Mobility Plus is York Region's equivalent of the Toronto Transit Commission's Wheel-Trans service. History YRT Mobility Plus was created in 2001 following the merger of the various transit agencies in York Region. The Regional Municipality of Peel (informally Peel Region or Region of Peel, also formerly Peel County) is a regional municipality in the Greater Toronto Area, Southern Ontario, Canada. Oakville Transit is the public transportation provider in Oakville, Ontario, Canada since 1972. It is a department of the town and a member of the Canadian Urban Transit Association. It offers the typical conventional bus service, and a para-transit service, called ''care-A-van'', for those unable to use the conventional service. The care-A-van takes riders directly to the address they desire. The original logo for Oakville Transit, no longer in use, was by renowned designer Stuart Ash. Goshen Coach
Goshen Coach was an American cutaway bus builder located in Salina, Kansas. The company was founded in 1985 and was owned by Thor Industries from 2005 until August 2013, when Thor sold the company to Allied Specialty Vehicles (later renamed REV Group). REV Group closed the Goshen Coach factory was closed on October 31, 2016. After the closure, REV continued to use the Goshen Coach name for some buses built at the ElDorado facility in Salina, Kansas and the Champion Bus facility in Imlay City, Michigan. In May 2020, REV sold its cutaway bus businesses to Forest River, including the Goshen Coach brand name. Since the acquisition by Forest River, the Goshen Coach brand name is no longer in use. Cutaway van chassis are used by second stage manufacturers for a wide range of completed motor vehicles. Especially popular in the United States, they are usually based upon incomplete vans to be bigger or smaller than pickup trucks and SUVs made by manufacturers such as Chrysler, Ford, and General Motors which are generally equipped with heavier duty components than most of their complete products. To these incomplete vehicles, a second stage manufacturer adds specific equipment and completes the vehicle.
