Transdev Limocar
Limocar is a coach operator in Quebec, Canada.The company was founded in 1979 and operates a fleet of 320 vehicles. It operates the only regular bus service between Montreal and Sherbrooke. It also operates the public transportation service (Conseil Intermunicipal de Transport) for several Quebec municipalities as well as school buses and wheel-chair transportation. The old Transdev acquired the business in 2007. It is now a subsidiary of the new Transdev. Transdev, formerly Veolia Transdev, is a French-based international private-sector company which operates public transport. It has operations in 17 countries and territories as of November 2020. History The group was formed by the merger of Veolia Transport and Transdev (historic), Transdev on 3 April 2011. Transdev was an international public transport group based in Issy-les-Moulineaux near Paris, France, and operating in several countries. Originally created as ''Société centrale pour l'équipement du territoire'' in 1955 and developing transportation activities since 1973, Transdev was a subsidiary Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations, a French state-owned financial institution. Gare d'autocars de Montréal ( en, Montreal Coach Terminal) is a bus terminal located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is the departure and arrival point for most inter-city buses. Nearly 300 buses serve the terminal per day. The station is connected to the Montreal Metro system at the Berri–UQAM station. Intercar
Intercar is the second largest interurban bus carrier within the province of Quebec, Canada, and one of the largest providers of school buses. The company was founded in 1959 in Jonquière, but expanded greatly in 1990 with the acquisition of Voyageur's routes in the Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean region and the North Coast of the Saint Lawrence River. The next step in the evolution of the Intercar Group, already well established in student transportation in Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean, was the launch of school bus services in the area around Quebec City.
