''Transcendent'' is an American reality television series that premiered on September 30, 2015 on Fuse. It focuses on the personal and professional relationships of a group of transgender women who perform at AsiaSF, a San Francisco nightclub. Freddie Ross Jr. (born January 28, 1978), better known by his stage name Big Freedia ( ), is an American rapper and performer known for his work in the New Orleans genre of hip hop called bounce music. A transgender (often abbreviated as trans) person is someone whose gender identity or gender expression does not correspond with their sex assigned at birth.
