Tramway Line Between Liberec And Jablonec
The city of Liberec is one of the seven cities in the Czech Republic where tram transport is present. The tram system is conjoined with an interurban tramway branch to Jablonec nad Nisou. It is operated by ''Dopravní podnik měst Liberce a Jablonce nad Nisou, a.s.'' The track system is approximately long with the branch between Liberec and Jablonec nad Nisou measuring around . Narrow-gauge tracks were used since inception of the system in 1898 and a part of the network was decommissioned in the 1960s. A gradual reconstruction of the city line took place in the 1990s, where tracks were reconstructed to standard-gauge railway. Most (; german: Brüx; la, Pons) is a city in the Ústí nad Labem Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 63,000 inhabitants. It lies between the Central Bohemian Uplands and the Ore Mountains, approximately northwest of Prague along the Bílina River and southwest of Ústí nad Labem. The T3 is a type of Czech tramcar produced by ČKD Tatra. A late-2000s study conducted on the Prague tram system has shown 98.9% reliability, the best of the Prague tram system fleet. During its period of production between 1960 and 1999, 13,991 powered units and 122 unpowered trailers were sold worldwide. It became the most dominant tramcar model in Eastern Bloc countries, except for Poland, where locally produced trams from Konstal factory are still the mainstay in tram systems there. In 1988, the T3 tram entered the Guinness Book of Records as the most widely produced tram in the world. With over 14,000 cars produced, it is still in 2022 the most widespread tram car in the world. Modřice (; german: Mödritz) is a town in Brno-Country District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 5,600 inhabitants. Geography Modřice is located about south of Brno. It lies in the Dyje–Svratka Valley. It is situated on the right bank of the Svratka (river), Svratka River. History The first written mention of Modřice is from 1141.
