Trampas Parker
Trampas Parker (born July 27, 1967) is an American former professional motocross racer. He competed in the AMA Motocross Championships in 1985 and 1986 and in the Motocross World Championships from 1988 to 2004. Parker is notable for being the first American racer to claim two motocross world championships. He was inducted into the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame in 2007. Biography Born in Shreveport, Louisiana, Parker was the 1989 FIM world champion in the 125cc class on a KTM. In 1991 he won the 250 world championship on a Honda. In 1995, Parker entered the premier 500cc class with KTM in an attempt to become the second competitor in FIM history after Eric Geboers to win motocross world championships in the three main displacement categories (125cc, 250cc and 500cc classes). Trampas Whiteman is an American writer. Early life and education Trampas Whiteman was born July 8, 1972, and grew up in the rural town of Odessa, Missouri. After graduating high school, he attended Central Missouri State University where he gained a Bachelor of Science in broadcasting and film. Game design and comic books Whiteman is the founder of the Whitestone Council, the fan organization behind the Dragonlance Nexus. Since the founding of the council, Trampas has worked with Sovereign Press/Margaret Weis Productions as a designer on the ''Dragonlance'' sourcebooks for 3rd edition, including ''Holy Orders of the Stars'', ''Knightly Orders of Ansalon'', and ''Races of Ansalon''. He has contributed to many other ''Dragonlance'' sourcebooks, functioning as a compiler and contributor for ''Lost Leaves from the Inn of the Last Home''. ''The Virginian'' (later renamed ''The Men from Shiloh'' in its final year) is an American Western television series starring James Drury in the title role, along with Doug McClure, Lee J. Cobb, and others. It originally aired on NBC from 1962 to 1971, for a total of 249 episodes. Drury had played the same role in 1958, in an unsuccessful pilot that became an episode of the NBC summer series ''Decision''. Filmed in color, ''The Virginian'' became television's first 90-minute Western series (75 minutes excluding commercial breaks). Cobb left the series after four seasons, and was replaced over the years by mature character actors John Dehner, Charles Bickford, John McIntire, and Stewart Granger, all portraying different characters. Las Trampas or just Trampas (Spanish: "traps"), is a small unincorporated town in Taos County, New Mexico. Founded in 1751, its center retains the original early Spanish colonial defensive layout from that time, as well as the 18th-century San José de Gracia Church, one of the finest surviving examples of Spanish Colonial church architecture in the United States.
