''Tragic Ballad'' (Italian: ''Ballata tragica'') is a 1954 Italian crime musical melodrama film directed by Luigi Capuano and starring Teddy Reno, Beniamino Maggio and Nando Bruno.Chiti & Poppi p.54 The film's sets were designed by the art director Alfredo Montori. Natale Cirino (5 February 1894 – 29 May 1962) was an Italian stage and film actor. Biography Born in Bologna, Fantoni began his acting career in Luchino Visconti’s stage proses until making his first on-screen appearance in 1937. Michele Malaspina (16 August 1908 – 13 January 1979) was an Italian actor and voice actor. Life and career Born in Bolzaneto, Genoa, the son of two shopkeepers, since childhood Malaspina has a passion for theater and was an actor in a company of amateur actors. At 18 years old, he entered the stage company of Alfredo Sainati, and from then he was part of the major stage companies of the time, notably the ones held by Emma Gramatica, Ermete Zacconi, Dina Galli, Ruggero Ruggeri and Camillo Pilotto. Giacomo Furia
Giacomo Matteo Furia (2 January 1925 – 5 June 2015) was an Italian film, television and stage actor. He appeared in more than 130 films between 1948 and 1998. Life and career Born in Arienzo, near Caserta, Furia started his acting career thanks to Eduardo De Filippo, he had met through an after-school summer job; he made his professional debut on stage in 1945, in De Filippo's "Napoli milionaria".
