Trade Union Reform And Employment Rights Act 1993
The Trade Union Reform and Employment Rights Act 1993c 19 was a UK labour law that abolished the minimum wages set by sectors through 27 remaining Worker Standards Board, wage councils. It also recast parts of the Employment Protection (Consolidation) Act 1978 and altered the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992. Most parts were then transferred to the Employment Rights Act 1996. The Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992c 52 is a UK Act of Parliament which regulates United Kingdom labour law. The Act applies in full in England and Wales and in Scotland, and partially in Northern Ireland. The Employment Rights Act 1996 (c. 18) is a United Kingdom Act of Parliament passed by the Conservative government to codify existing law on individual rights in UK labour law. History Previous statutes, dating from the Contracts of Employment Act 1963, included the Redundancy Payments Act 1965, the Employment Protection Act 1975 and the Wages Act 1986.
