Mother Earth is the seventh studio album by Japanese J-pop singer and songwriter Maki Ohguro. It was released on 9 September 1998 under B-Gram Records. For the first time the arranger Takeshi became the main producer of this album. Album consist of the only one previously released singles, ''Ne! ~Onna Jounetsu~''. Two tracks out of thirteen are instrumental, composed by Maki herself and Takeshi Hayama. The album reached No. 1 in its first week on the Oricon chart. The album sold 714,000 copies. Founded in early 1906 and initially edited by Emma Goldman, an activist in the United States, it published articles by contemporary activists and writers in Europe as well as the US, in addition to essays by historic figures. ''The Altar'' is the second studio album by American singer and songwriter Banks, released on September 30, 2016, by Harvest Records. The Cimarons
The Cimarons are a British reggae band formed in 1967. They were the UK's first self-contained indigenous reggae band. History Jamaican natives, the Cimarons migrated to Britain in 1967 with a lineup consisting of Franklyn Dunn (bass), Carl Levy (keyboards), Locksley Gichie (guitar), and Maurice Ellis (drums); vocalist, Winston Reid (better known as Winston Reedy) joined in London. They were primarily session musicians in Jamaica, and backed many artists, including Jimmy Cliff. They performed at the Edinburgh Reggae Festival in 1973, where they also backed Nicky Thomas's performance of "Is It Because I'm Black". ''Stations of the Crass'' is the second album by Crass, released in 1979. The record, originally released as a double 12", includes live tracks from a gig recorded at the ''Pied Bull'' pub in Islington, London, on 7 August 1979. The first three sides contain the studio tracks and play at 45 rpm, while the final side comprises the live material and plays at 33 rpm. The album's title is not only a pun on the Catholic rite of the Stations of the Cross (such jibes against the religious establishment were typical of Crass), but is also a reference to the graffiti campaign that the band had been conducting around London's London Underground, underground railway system, the cover artwork depicting a wall at Bond Street tube station that had allegedly been 'decorated' by them. Although the album met mixed critical reception at first, it managed to sell at least 20,000 copies within two weeks. Ian Campbell Thomas (born 23 July 1950) is a Canadian singer, songwriter, actor and author. He is the younger brother of comedian and actor Dave Thomas. He was born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Career Thomas is a successful rock and roll musician in Canada. His solo career peaked during the 1970s; his most memorable hit was 1973's "Painted Ladies". Success in the American market, however, has proven to be elusive with the possible exception of "Painted Ladies", which remains his only U.S. Top 40 hit. He has also done musical composition for about a dozen films and television shows. Before breaking through with "Painted Ladies", he was a producer at the CBC. Before that, he was part of the folk music group Tranquility Base (sometimes spelled Tranquillity Base). In 1974, he won a Juno Award for "Most Promising Male Vocalist of the Year". "Mother Earth" is a blues song recorded by Memphis Slim in 1951. A slow twelve-bar blues, it is one of Slim's best-known songs and reached number seven in the Billboard R&B chart in 1951. Memphis Slim song "Mother Earth" features an unusual descending chromatic figure and an often-quoted chorus: A ''Billboard'' review in 1951 described it as "Blues moralizer, with group harmonizing in back of Slim's chanting, avinga haunting effect, but tis on the tedious side". ''Cut Above the Rest'' is the seventh studio album by the English glam rock band Sweet, released on Polydor Records in October 1979. It was their first album release following the departure of their original lead vocalist Brian Connolly. Connolly had begun recording this album with the band at the TownHouse Studio in Shepherd's Bush, London, but his vocals were subsequently wiped and replaced by vocals from bass player Steve Priest and guitarist Andy Scott. Original outtakes of "Play All Night" and "Stay With Me" (a.k.a. "Log One/That Girl") featuring Connolly's vocals have been recovered and were released on the rarities CD '' Platinum Rare''.
