Tracy Krohn
Tracy W. Krohn (born August 26, 1954, in Houston, Texas) is an entrepreneur and auto racing enthusiast who was a new addition to the 2006 Forbes 400 list of the wealthiest Americans, at #320. Biography He has a petroleum engineering degree from Louisiana State University and has worked as an engineer and drilling supervisor for Mobil Oil. Krohn founded W&T Offshore with $12,000 in 1983. He resides in Houston. His racing team, Krohn Racing currently competes in the European Le Mans Series. In March 2007 he and Lola Racing Cars created Proto-Auto LLC and purchased a chassis design and Grand American Daytona Prototype Constructors Licence from Multimatic Motorsports, a racing car constructor, to build a Lola chassis for Grand-Am Daytona Prototype competition in 2008 and beyond. The 2013 6 Hours of Silverstone was an auto racing, auto racing event held at the Silverstone Circuit, near Silverstone, England on 12–14 April 2013. The event was the opening round of the 2013 FIA World Endurance Championship season, and served as the annual award for the Royal Automobile Club's RAC Tourist Trophy, Tourist Trophy. Ligier JS P2
The Ligier JS P2 is a racing car designed and built by French manufacturer Onroak Automotive and named in partnership with French former racing driver Guy Ligier. Designed for the Le Mans Prototype 2 (LMP2) regulations, it is intended as a second option to Onroak's Morgan LMP2 that has been competing since 2012. As well as being the first closed-cockpit car offered by Onroak, it is also the first car they designed entirely in-house. The 2009 24 Hours of Le Mans (french: 24 Heures du Mans 2009) was the 77th Grand Prix of Endurance, an endurance racing (motorsport), endurance auto racing, auto race run over 24 hours. Eric Van De Poele
Eric van de Poele (born 30 September 1961) is a Belgian racing driver and former Formula One driver. He participated in 29 Grands Prix, in 1991 and 1992. He is a three-times class winner at 24 Hours of Le Mans, and won three Formula 3000 races in 1990. Driving career After a difficult 1984 season in French Formula Three, van de Poele then won the Belgian and Benelux Formula Ford titles, also racing in the Belgian Touring Car Championship. He subsequently raced in German Touring Cars Championships, winning the 1987 championship despite not winning a race all season.
