Tracy Coster
Tracy Coster is an Australian country music singer and songwriter. She was born on 12 April 1966. Her father, Stan Coster, was an acknowledged songwriter. Early life It is hard to determine the time Tracy Coster started her career. She was born into country music, and she grew up with the music her father Stan wrote. Tracy started singing in her father's band when she was about thirteen, and she was determined to become a country star. The family led a travelling life from one gig to the other. Stan Coster
Stan Coster OAM (27 May 193025 March 1997) was an Australian country music singer-songwriter. His songs were regularly performed by Slim Dusty and other singers. He is the father of country music singer Tracy Coster. Early life Stan Coster was born at Casino on the north coast of New South Wales, Australia in 1930. One of seven children, each of whom were musically talented. He left school at the age of 14 and worked for a local butcher in Woolgoolga, NSW. By the age of 16, he was cutting sleepers for train tracks and at 18 years of age he went to work as a station hand before moving to Sydney and in 1948 moved to Cooma, New South Wales, to work on the Snowy Mountains Scheme. In 1950, at age 20, Coster joined a travelling rodeo as a rough rider and in 1951 he married Dorothy Aileen Milto, with whom he had three children, including country music singer Tracy Coster. Anne Kirkpatrick
Anne Kirkpatrick (born 4 July 1952) is an Australian country music singer. She is the daughter of country singers Slim Dusty and Joy McKean. Biography She also has a brother, David Kirkpatrick, who is an accomplished singer-songwriter. The year 1964 saw the establishment of the annual Slim Dusty Australia-round tour, a journey that went on for ten months. This regular event was the subject of a feature film, ''The Slim Dusty Movie'', in 1984, which includes several performances featuring Anne Kirkpatrick. Kirkpatrick also features in the 2020 Australian documentary ''Slim and I''. Kirkpatrick has won Golden Guitar Awards at the Tamworth Country Music Festival in 1979, 1991, and twice in 1992.
