Trabzonspor Basketbol Kulübü ( en, Trabzonspor Basketball Club), also known as Trabzonspor Basket or Trabzonspor, was a professional basketball club that is based in the city of Trabzon, Turkey. It was a department of the sports club, multi-sport club of Trabzonspor. Their home arena was the Hayri Gür Arena, which has a capacity of 7,500 seats, and was opened in 2011. Trabzonspor played seven seasons in the Basketbol Süper Ligi, the highest tier in Turkey. The club withdrew in 2018 due to financial problems. Basketbol Süper Ligi
The Basketball Super League ( tr, Basketbol Süper Ligi; BSL), also known as the Türkiye Sigorta Basketbol Süper Ligi for sponsorship reasons, is the top men's professional basketball division of the Turkish basketball league system. It replaced the former Turkish Basketball Championship (1946–1966) to become the Turkish Basketball League (TBL) until 2015 when it adopted its current name while the TBL name became exclusive to the second-tier and third-tier divisions. The BSL is administrated by the Turkish Basketball Federation (TBF) and is contested by 16 teams, with the two lowest-placed teams relegated to the second-tier TBL and replaced by the top two teams of that division. Since the league's restructuring in 1966, 11 clubs have been crowned champions, with Anadolu Efes winning the title a record 15 times and Fenerbahçe 10 times. Clubul Sportiv Energia was a Romanian professional basketball club based in Târgu Jiu, Romania. The club competed in the Liga I, the second tier of basketball in Romania. The club was founded in 2002 and was dissolved in 2016 after financial problems. History The team promoted to the First division in 2008, managing to finish 7th and qualify for the Romanian Cup semifinals in the first year in the Liga Națională.
