Tova Beck-Friedman
Tova Beck-Friedman is an American artist, sculptor, writer and filmmaker based in New York City. Her work has been exhibited in the United States, Australia, Israel, Europe, and Japan. Her work is in the collection of Grounds For Sculpture, Yeshiva University Museum, Newark Museum, Sculpture Garden, the Shoah Film Collection and the National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington DC. Early life and education Beck-Friedman holds a BA in Fine Arts from Purdue University and an MFA from Goddard College in Vermont. In 1982 she pursued a graduate student research studies at the Tama University of Art in Tokyo. Career Beck-Friedman's work has been exhibited and shown at The International Artists' Museum for the 50th Venice Biennale, New Jersey State Museum, Monique Goldstrom Gallery, New York, Sculpture Biennale in Beersheba, Israel, The Newark Museum and Boleslawiec International Symposium, Poland. Brackets
A bracket is either of two tall fore- or back-facing punctuation marks commonly used to isolate a segment of text or data from its surroundings. Jersey City Museum
The Jersey City Museum was a municipal art museum in Jersey City, New Jersey. The establishment opened in 1901 and was housed in the main branch of the Jersey City Public Library. It relocated to a new building in 2001, but due to financial difficulties and discord with the city, closed to the public in 2010. In 2018, the museum collection was donated to the Zimmerli Art Museum at Rutgers University. In 2018, the Jersey City municipal government began the process of establishing a new museum in a historic building at Journal Square. After renovations, it is expected to open in 2024 as Centre Pompidou x Jersey City, a satellite museum of the Centre Pompidou, and exhibit works of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries from the Pompidou collection. Center For Jewish History
The Center for Jewish History is a partnership of five Jewish history, scholarship, and art organizations in New York City: American Jewish Historical Society, American Sephardi Federation, Leo Baeck Institute New York, Yeshiva University Museum, and YIVO Institute for Jewish Research. Together, housed in one location, the partners have separate governing bodies and finances, but collocate resources. The partners' collections make up the biggest repository of Jewish history in the United States. Drew University
Drew University is a private university in Madison, New Jersey. Drew has been nicknamed the "University in the Forest" because of its wooded campus. As of fall 2020, more than 2,200 students were pursuing degrees at the university's three schools. Franconia Sculpture Park
Franconia Sculpture Park is an outdoor sculpture park in Franconia, Minnesota, United States, that offers a 50-acre outdoor museum, active artist residency program, and a depth and breadth of community arts programming for a diverse and engaged public. The park, with a rotating collection of over 100 contemporary sculptures, and is free and open to the public from 8am-8pm daily. The park draws over 180,000 visitors annually.
