Toula (Arabic: تولا ) is a village in Batroun District, North Governorate, Lebanon, 15 km far from Batroun Batroun ( ar, ٱلْبَتْرُون '; Syriac script: ܒܬܪܘܢ ') is a coastal city in northern Lebanon and one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world. It is the capital city of Batroun District. Etymology The name ''Bat .... Situated at an altitude ranging from 460 meters above sea level at its lowest point, to 760 metres. It is known for its olive oil and figs. The residents are Christians. Its St-Doméce's (Mar Doumit) parish church dates back to 1270, it was restored in 1921 and has beautiful stone vaults inside. Toula, Zgharta
Toula ( ar, تولا) is a small village in North Lebanon in Zgharta District (or Quadaa). It is above sea level and is primarily a recreational village. Descendants of the original full-time residents of Toula do not reside in Toula during the winter months. Heavy snow fall typically makes Toula's mountainous roads inaccessible. However, Toula's original families occupied the village on a year-round basis. Settling families and early residents developed a climatic tolerance and adapted to Toula's harsh winter months. Demographics Toula has an estimated approximate population of 1,000. The last national census was conducted in 1932. At the beginning of the 20th century, similar to other Lebanese towns and cities, these village residents emigrated to different locations around the world. Tula ( rus, Тула, p=ˈtulə) is the largest city and the administrative center of Tula Oblast in Russia, located south of Moscow. Tula is located in the northern Central Russian Upland on the banks of the Upa River, a tributary of the Oka.
