Total Carnage
''Total Carnage'' is a multidirectional shooter arcade video game originally developed and published by Midway in North America in January 1992. Set in the fictional country of Kookistan during 1999, players assume the role of Captain Carnage and Major Mayhem from the Doomsday Squad in a last-ditch effort to overthrow dictator General Akhboob and his army of mutants from conquering the world, while also rescuing POWs held by his military force. ''Total Carnage'' was created by most of the same team who previously worked on Williams' 1990 arcade game ''Smash TV'' and shares many gameplay elements. Initially released in arcades, the game was ported to the Amiga, CD32, Jaguar, Game Boy, MS-DOS, and Super Nintendo Entertainment System. Midway Games Inc., known previously as Midway Manufacturing and Bally Midway, and commonly known as simply Midway, was an American video game developer and publisher. John Rambo
John James Rambo (born July 6, 1947) is a fictional character in the ''Rambo'' franchise. He first appeared in the 1972 novel '' First Blood'' by David Morrell, but later became more famous as the protagonist of the film series, in which he was played by Sylvester Stallone. ''NBA Jam'' is a basketball video game developed and published by Midway for arcades in 1993. It is the first entry in the ''NBA Jam'' series. The project leader for this game was Mark Turmell. ''Midway Arcade Treasures Deluxe Edition'' is an arcade compilation released exclusively for Microsoft Windows on February 15, 2006 in North America, and on March 17, 2006 in PAL regions. It is a compilation of ''Midway Arcade Treasures 2'' and ''Midway Arcade Treasures 3'', which had both been previously released on consoles only. Unlike the previous two volumes, it includes the original ''Mortal Kombat''. In the two months after its release, two official patches were released for the collection, one to fix missing music for half of the games that was accidentally left out of the shipped version, and a second one to correct a button function oversight that prevented Random Select and Smoke battle easter eggs in ''Mortal Kombat II'' (these were bugs that plagued the console versions of ''Midway Arcade Treasures 2''). Midway Arcade Treasures 2
''Midway Arcade Treasures 2'' is the second collection of classic arcade games published by Midway Games for the PlayStation 2, Xbox (not compatible with Xbox 360), and GameCube. This compilation includes 20 games that were not in the 2003 release of ''Midway Arcade Treasures''. Unlike the previous game, it was rated M for Mature instead of T for Teen by the ESRB. The game plays similar on all three consoles, though the Xbox version has the exclusive ability to upload scores to an online scoreboard. However, the Xbox version is not compatible with the Xbox 360. The special features on each version of the game are the same. These include game histories, developer interviews, and other documents.
