Vincenzo Tota (born in Florence, Italy) is a medical doctor specializing in sports medicine. He received his degree in Medicine and Surgery in 1982 from University of Siena, in Siena, Italy. For most of the past two decades, Tota has managed the medical care of numerous race car teams, including fitness training and nutrition for race drivers, in Formula One, off-road and sports car racing. Lake Tota ( es, Lago de Tota) is the largest lake in Colombia, located in the east of Boyacá department, inside the Sugamuxi Province, it is the source of the Upia River which flows into the Orinoco River basin. The major town on the lake is Aquitania, located on its eastern side. Other nearby villages include Tota, Iza and Cuítiva. Lake Tota was an important religious center for the Muisca culture.
