Tortured (film)
''Tortured'' is a 2008 American crime thriller film written and directed by Nolan Lebovitz and starring Cole Hauser, Laurence Fishburne, and James Cromwell. It was released direct-to-DVD in the U.S. on September 16, 2008. It was filmed in Vancouver, Canada. Plot FBI agent Kevin Cole goes undercover as Jimmy Vaughn, an organized crime enforcer. When he is ordered to undertake the week-long torture of accountant Archie Green, Kevin begins to question his role in government service, where often he must hurt or end another human being's life just to make a bust. Adam Lebovitz is an American film and television producer, focusing on thriller, horror and comedy. He is best known for his horror movies ''Tortured'' and ''Unrest'' as well as his contributions to the production industry by creating the film budgeting website www.quickfilmbudget.com. Education and early career Lebovitz was born in Highland Park, Illinois as the middle child of three children. After he graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School, he moved to Los Angeles. In 2003, Adam began working with his brother Nolan and they created Five Star Media. James Thomas Denton Jr. (born January 20, 1963) is an American actor and musician. He is best known for playing Mike Delfino on ABC's comedy-drama series ''Desperate Housewives'' (2004–2012) and Dr. Sam Radford on Hallmark Channel's comedy-drama series '' Good Witch'' (2015–2021).
