Toronto Blue Jays
The Toronto Blue Jays are a Canadian professional baseball team based in Toronto. The Blue Jays compete in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a member club of the American League (AL) East division. Since 1989, the team has played its home games primarily at Rogers Centre in downtown Toronto. The name "Blue Jays" originates from the bird of the same name, and blue is also the traditional colour of Toronto's collegiate and professional sports teams including the Maple Leafs (ice hockey) and the Argonauts (Canadian football). Edgardo Antonio Alfonzo (born November 8, 1973), nicknamed Fonzie, is a Venezuelan former professional baseball player and coach. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) as an infielder from to , most notably as a member of the New York Mets, with whom he played in the 2000 World Series and was selected as a member of the National League All-Star team. Alfonzo's 29.7 wins above replacement (WAR) as a Met place him as the seventh most valuable player in franchise history. is a Japanese professional baseball outfielder for the Tokyo Yakult Swallows of Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB). He previously played for the Milwaukee Brewers, Kansas City Royals, San Francisco Giants, Seattle Mariners, Houston Astros, Toronto Blue Jays and New York Mets of Major League Baseball (MLB). Dustin Kamakana Mai Ku’u Makualani Antolin (born August 9, 1989) is an American former professional baseball pitcher, who played one game in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Toronto Blue Jays. Luis Andújar Sanchez (born November 22, 1972) is a former right-handed pitcher in Major League Baseball and the Korea Baseball Organization. Andújar signed with the Chicago White Sox as an amateur free agent at age 18 and made his profession debut with that organisation. Clayton Andrews (born May 15, 1978) is a former left-handed pitcher in Major League Baseball. Andrews was taken in the third round of the 1996 amateur draft by the Toronto Blue Jays.
