Tormod Andreasen
Tormod Andreassen (born 29 March 1951) is a Norwegian curler and curling coach. Andreassen has skipped Norway at 3 World Championships (1986, 1993 and 1994), finishing sixth place each time. He skipped Norway the 1992 Winter Olympics when curling was a demonstration sport. Norway won the silver medal, losing to Switzerland (skipped by Urs Dick) in the final. Andreassen has also played in four European Curling Championships (, , , ), winning the bronze in 1986 and 1998. A sports coach is a person coaching in sport, involved in the direction, instruction and training of a sports team or athlete. World Curling Championships
The World Curling Championships are the annual world championships for curling, organized by the World Curling Federation and contested by national championship teams. There are men's, women's and mixed doubles championships, as well as men's and women's versions of junior and senior championships. There is also a world championship for wheelchair curling. The men's championship started in 1959, while the women's started in 1979. The mixed doubles championship was started in 2008. European Curling Championships
The European Curling Championships are annual curling tournaments held in Europe between various European nations. The European Curling Championships are usually held in early to mid December. The tournament also acts as a qualifier for the World Championships, where the top eight nations qualify. In November 1974, a six-nations tournament was held in Zürich, Switzerland which included Switzerland, Sweden, Germany, France, Italy, and Norway. In March 1975, it was decided that the championships would be competed in December. Linn Githmark
Linn Catharina Cavallius Githmark (born 26 September 1982) is a Norwegian curler who has skipped her country to a world junior title, and also played on the Norwegian team that won a silver medal at the world championships. Githmark played on the teams representing Norway in world junior championships from 1997 to 2004, and was skip on all but two occasions. She led her team to the gold medal in 2004. Githmark made her world championship debut in 2004, taking Hanne Woods' place as third on the team skipped by former world champion Dordi Nordby.
