Tor Thodesen
Tor Thodesen (born 3 March 1966) is a Norwegian football coach. In 2006, he was awarded the "Coach of the year" award by his colleagues, for his work in Sandefjord. Career Early years Thodesen played youth football in Teie IF and was drafted into the senior squad in the mid-1980s. In 1986 he moved to neighbours Nøtterøy IF. He also enrolled in the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences in Oslo. For some time he commuted from Oslo to Nøtterøy to play for his team, but transferred to IF Ready after the 1988 season. In the summer of 1990 he returned to Teie, upon graduation from the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences. While studying and playing, Thodesen also did academy work and goalkeeper coaching in Teie, Nøtterøy and Ready. He was recruited by Per Egil Nygård as an instructor in Oslo Goalkeeper School. Nøtterøy
Nøtterøy is an island and a former municipality in the present-day municipality of Færder in Vestfold and Telemark county, Norway. The administrative centre of the municipality was the village of Borgheim. The parish of ''Nøtterø'' was established as a municipality on 1 January 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt). Two islands were later transferred from the municipality of Stokke to Nøtterøy: Håøya (in 1901) and Veierland (in 1964). The whole municipality was made up of a small island group south of Tønsberg municipality, including the islands of Nøtterøy, Føynland, Veierland, and about 175 smaller islands. Nøtterøy includes the villages of Borgheim, Glomstein, Teie, and Torød. As 2010, 16,418 of the municipality lived within the town of Tønsberg, an urban area shared between the two municipalities. Tippeligaen
Eliteserien () is a Norwegian professional league for association football clubs. At the top of the Norwegian football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. Contested by 16 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Norwegian First Division. Seasons run from March to November with each team playing 30 matches (playing each other home and away). Most games are played on Sunday evenings. Norwegian Second Division
The Norwegian Second Division, also called 2. divisjon and often referred to as PostNord-ligaen for sponsorship reasons, is the third-highest level of the Norwegian football league system. There are 28 teams divided into two groups, and at the end of the season the winner of each group earns promotion to the second-highest division, 1. divisjon. The teams finishing in second place in their respective group will qualify for the promotion play-offs, where they will face each other. The winner will play against the 14th placed team in 1. divisjon for promotion. The bottom three teams in each group are relegated to 3. divisjon. 2. divisjon is the highest league a reserve team can participate in, and only reserve teams from the Eliteserien clubs (first tier) are allowed to enter. Teitur Thordarson
Teitur Thordarson ( is, Teitur Þórðarson, born 14 January 1952) is an Icelandic football coach. He is the older brother of Ólafur Þórðarson. Playing career Club Íþróttabandalag Akraness Before coaching, Teitur playing as a striker for nearly two decades. He signed his first professional contract when he joined hometown club Íþróttabandalag Akraness in 1969. He scored 51 goals in 99 appearances, and won four championship titles with ÍA between 1969 and 1977. Einar Rossbach
Einar Rossbach (born 20 October 1964) is a former Norwegian international goalkeeper who played for Urædd, Ham-Kam, Tromsø, Lyn, Odd, Silkeborg, Tollnes and Pors Grenland. He was named goalkeeper of the year in both 1987 and in 1990, and received a Kniksen award in 1990 as "Goalkeeper of the year". VG named him "player of the year" in 1990. Playing career Rossbach started his career with local clubs Stridklev, Urædd and Pors Grenland. In 1986 when Ham-Kam was promoted to the Norwegian Premier League they signed Rossbach. Kvik Halden FK
Kvik Halden FK is a Norwegian football club, founded on 19 June 1906. The club plays in the 2. divisjon after their promotion from the 2018 3. divisjon. In 2010 they contested a playoff to win promotion, and succeeded by beating Eik-Tønsberg 5–1 on aggregate. In 1997, a merger between the two Halden-based clubs FK Kvik and Halden FK resulted in the formation of Kvik Halden FK. Long before the merger, FK Kvik was informally known as Kvik Halden anyway, to avoid confusion with the other FK Kvik from Trondheim. FK Kvik was the older and better of the two, but Halden FK had a rather large base of young players. The merger was controversial, and has been criticized by some who claim that the result of the merger was that FK Kvik simply took over Halden FK. HIFK Fotboll or IFK Helsingfors is an association football section of HIFK, a sports club based in Helsinki, Finland.
