Topčiderka
Topčiderska River ( sr, Топчидерска река / ''Topčiderska reka'', "Topčider River"), or colloquially Topčiderka ( sr-cyr, Топчидерка), or Topčiderski Creek ( sr, Топчидерски поток / ''Topčiderski potok'', "Topčider Creek"), is a river in north-central Serbia, a 30 km-long right tributary to the Sava river to which it flows in the urban section of Belgrade. It is one of the 40 rivers, streams and creeks that flow or used to flow through Belgrade (majority of them is conducted underground into the city sewage system). Geography Course The Topčiderska reka originates in the Lipovica (Lipovica Forest) area, on the northern slopes of the ''Parcanski vis'', the northern section of the Kosmaj mountain, at an altitude of 192 meters. Ada Ciganlija
Ada Ciganlija ( sr-cyr, Ада Циганлија, ), colloquially shortened to Ada, is a river island that has artificially been turned into a peninsula, located in the Sava River's course through central Belgrade, Serbia. The name can also refer to the adjoining artificial Lake Sava and its beach. To take advantage of its central location, over the past few decades, it was turned into an immensely popular recreational zone, most notable for its beaches and sports facilities, which, during summer seasons, can have over 100,000 visitors daily and up to 300,000 visitors over the weekend. Kijevo, Belgrade
Kijevo ( sr, Кијево) is an urban neighborhood of Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. It is located in Belgrade's municipality of Rakovica. Location Kijevo is located between the southwestern slopes of the Straževica hill on the east, and the southeastern slopes of the Petlovo Brdo on the west. The neighborhood is situated in the central part of the municipality, on the mouth of the stream of Kijevski Potok into the Topčiderka river. Resnik, Belgrade
Resnik ( sr, Ресник, ) is an urban neighborhood of Belgrade, Serbia. It is located in Belgrade's municipality of Rakovica. Location Resnik is located in the southern section of the municipality and makes the southernmost point of the urban Belgrade City Proper. Originally a village distant from Belgrade, which developed between the valleys of the creek of Rakovički potok and the Topčiderka river. The creek of ''Pariguz'' flows through the southern parts of Resnik before it empties into the Topčiderka. Rakovica ( sr-cyr, Раковица, ) is a municipality of the city of Belgrade. According to the 2011 census results, the municipality has 108,641 inhabitants. Voždovac ( sr-cyr, Вождовац, ) is a municipality of the city of Belgrade. According to the 2011 census results, the municipality has a population of 158,213 inhabitants. Pinosava
Pinosava ( Serbian Cyrillic: Пиносава) is a small town and a suburb of Belgrade, Serbia. It is located in Belgrade's municipality of Voždovac, on the western slope of the Avala mountain, in the valley of the Topčiderka river, over 15 kilometers south of downtown Belgrade.
