Top Model Sverige
''Top Model Sverige'' ( en, Top Model Sweden) was a Swedish reality television show based on ''America's Next Top Model''. It was broadcast on TV3 in Sweden. The first season, ''Top Model Stockholm'' (abbreviated as ''Sthlm''), aired in 2007 and was hosted by Vendela Kirsebom. The show returned to TV3 in 2012 with Izabella Scorupco as host. However, she also lasted for one season only and was replaced by Caroline Winberg who hosted the show's third and fourth seasons. Show format During the second season the show also saw a unique twist when the entire judging, held in Los Angeles, was done in English due to some members of the panel regulars were not able to speak Swedish. Season 4 featured both female and male participants, and the cast number rose to 14 from 10. In addition, the season broadcast 40 episodes over 10 weeks. Tyra Lynne Banks (born December 4, 1973), also known as BanX, is an American television personality, model, producer, writer, and actress. Born in Inglewood, California, she began her career as a model at the age of 15, and was the first African-American woman to be featured on the covers of '' GQ'' and the ''Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue'', on which she appeared three times. She was a Victoria's Secret Angel from 1997 to 2005. By the early 2000s, Banks was one of the world's top-earning models. Alice Minna Irmeli Herbst (born April 13, 1993) is a Swedish former fashion model, best known for winning the fifth cycle of ''Sweden's Next Top Model'' in 2012. She is the cousin of Victoria's Secret model Elsa Hosk. Herbst gave up modeling in August 2012 after discovering the poor work ethics of the industry. Artwork Herbst started studying art at the age of 21 and is now a full time artist. Her work is primarily figurative and has been described by The Art Gorgeous magazine as "depicting beautiful women being staged in a vintaged manner – imagine a kind of Hitchcock movie meets Lucian Freud." ''Top Model'' is a Scandinavian reality television show, based on Tyra Banks' ''America's Next Top Model''. It was broadcast on TV3 in Denmark, Norway and Sweden by Viasat in 2005 and 2006. A second adaptation of the show featuring plus-sized models was produced by the network in 2016. Format The competition was divided into three separate competitions: Denmark, Norway and Sweden. Each contest began with a group of twenty-something national semi-finalists that were narrowed down to nine national finalists in the first episode. Caroline Maria Winberg (born 27 March 1985) is a Swedish model. Personal life Caroline Winberg was born in Sollentuna.
