''The Emcee's Properganda'' is Jin's second studio album. It was released on October 25, 2005. The whole album was produced by Golden Child with the exception of "Properganda", which was produced by Demo. The album was recorded at No Mystery Studios and engineered by Vinny Nicoletti. The album was mixed at Storm Studios by Storm. "Top 5 (Dead or Alive)" was released as a 12" vinyl single with "Perspectives" as the B-side. The music video for "Top 5 (Dead or Alive)" was directed by Todd Angkasuwan. The song "G.O.L.D.E.N." was used on the soundtrack of the video-game Saints Row on the fictional radio station ''KRHYME 95.4''. Jin Au-Yeung (; born June 4, 1982), known professionally as MC Jin, is an American rapper, songwriter, actor and comedian of Chinese descent. Jin is notable for being the first Asian American solo rapper to be signed to a major record label in the United States. Early life Jin Au-Yeung was born on June 4, 1982 in Miami, Florida to Hong Kong immigrants of Hakka descent. He was raised in the general Miami area, where his parents owned a Chinese restaurant and Jin attended John F. Kennedy Middle School in North Miami Beach. Jin went on to attend North Miami Beach Senior High School, from which he graduated in 2000. After graduating, Jin decided to forgo college and begin his rap career. "Ether" is a diss song by American rapper Nas, from his 2001 album ''Stillmatic''. The song was a response to Jay-Z's "Takeover", a diss track directed towards Nas and Prodigy. Nas named the song "Ether" stating, "Ether" has been called a "classic" diss track and the "wildest" in hip hop history by music publications. The Shirelles
The Shirelles were an American girl group formed in Passaic, New Jersey in 1957. They consisted of schoolmates Shirley Owens (later Shirley Alston Reeves), Doris Coley (later Doris Kenner-Jackson), Addie "Micki" Harris (later Addie Harris McFadden), and Beverly Lee. Founded in 1957 for a talent show at their high school, they were signed by Florence Greenberg of Tiara Records. Their first single, "I Met Him on a Sunday", was released by Tiara and licensed by Decca Records in 1958. Lamont Coleman (May 30, 1974February 15, 1999), known professionally as Big L, was an American rapper and record executive.
