Toowoon Bay
Toowoon Bay is a suburb of the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia, located on a peninsula between Tuggerah Lake and the Pacific Ocean south of The Entrance. It is part of the local government area. Location Toowoon Bay's village centre is within The Entrance district and is situated at the intersection of Toowoon Bay Rd and Bay Rd (which is a tourist route to The Entrance). It encompasses a supermarket/general store, bakery, dry cleaners, burger shop, Newsagent/Post Office, dress shop, Cafe/restaurant, bottle shop, pharmacy, hairdresser, Doctor, Raine & Horne and a few other specialty stores. The Toowoon Bay beach is located at the eastern end of Toowoon Bay Rd with access from Bay Road (250 metres south of the village intersection). The beach is patrolled by Central Coast Council Lifeguard's during week days and lifesaver volunteers from the Toowoon Bay SLSC on weekends during summer. Central Coast (New South Wales)
The Central Coast is a peri-urban region in New South Wales, Australia, lying on the Tasman Sea coast to the north of Sydney and south of Newcastle. The local government area of the Central Coast Council has an estimated population of 333,627 as of June 2018, growing by 1% annually. Comprising localities such as Gosford, Wyong and Terrigal, the area is the third-largest urban area in New South Wales and the ninth-largest urban area in Australia. Central Coast & Newcastle Line
The Central Coast & Newcastle Line is a NSW TrainLink passenger train service that runs along the Main North railway line in New South Wales, connecting the state's two largest cities, Sydney and Newcastle. The service runs from through to on the Main North railway line to Newcastle Interchange on the Newcastle railway line, and services the Hawkesbury River region, the Central Coast and the city of Newcastle. Description of route The route traverses the Main West and Main South railway line routes until Strathfield, where it diverts north and follows the route of the Main North line until Broadmeadow, before diverting east along the route of the Newcastle branch line. Tuggerah Railway Station
Tuggerah railway station is located on the Main Northern line in New South Wales, Australia. It serves the northern Central Coast suburb of Tuggerah, opening in 1890. A pair of passing loops were added north of the station in 1948. These were removed in December 1995. The station was rebuilt in the 1990s. Platforms & services Tuggerah has two side platforms. Shelly Beach is a coastal suburb of the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia, located east of Tuggerah Lake and bordering the Pacific Ocean south of The Entrance.
