Tooty's Wedding
Tooty's Wedding is a 2010 short comedy film, written by Perrier Award Winners Ben Willbond and Laura Solon and directed by Frederic Casella. It was screened as part of the 2012 Sundance Film Festival, having been selected from a record 7,675 submissions. A feature-length version of the short film, in which "a young couple's marriage hilariously hits the rocks during a weekend wedding in the country" won awards at the Rhode Island International Film Festival (RIIFF), LA ShortsFest 2011, Aesthetica Short Film Festival and New York Friar’s Club is now in development. Ben Willbond
Benjamin Thomas Willbond (born 18 January 1973) is an English actor and screenwriter best known as a member of the British Horrible Histories troupe in which he appears in the TV series ''Horrible Histories'', ''Yonderland'' and ''Ghosts''. He is best known for his numerous roles in the CBBC children's programme ''Horrible Histories'', running from 2009 to 2013. As well as starring as various characters throughout the show's run, he also, along with the other five main actors, wrote numerous episodes. Again alongside the same five actors, he also stars as “Captain” in the 2019 TV series ''Ghosts''. Along with Laurence Rickard, he co-wrote the 2022 feature length television comedy ''We Are Not Alone''. Laura Solon
Laura Madalene Solon (born April 1979) is an English screenwriter, comedian, actress, and winner of the 2005 Perrier Comedy Award. She was the second woman to win as a solo performer, after Jenny Eclair in 1995. Background Solon was raised in Great Kimble near Aylesbury. She attended Downe House School followed by Worcester College, Oxford where she received a scholarship to read English and started writing and performing in the Oxford Revue. Career Solon tried being a stand up comedian but found character comedy suited her better. In 2005 she won the Perrier Award for her one-woman Edinburgh Fringe show ''Kopfraper's Syndrome: One Man and His Incredible Mind''. Celia Daisy Morna Haggard (born 1978) is a British actress and writer. She is known for her roles in the BBC sitcoms ''Uncle'' and ''Episodes''.
