Tooncast
Tooncast is a Latin American pay television channel owned by Warner Bros. Discovery through its Warner Bros. Discovery#Assets, International division. It was launched on 1 December 2008; its programming consists of classical animation, both from Hanna-Barbera and Cartoon Network. The channel is a commercial-free service. History The channel was launched on 1 December 2008, after all classic animation programming from Warner Bros., Hanna-Barbera and MGM were removed from Boomerang (Latin American TV channel), Boomerang Latin America, to center the network towards the teen audience, and replacing it with live-action programming instead. Tooncast follows the Boomerang (TV network), Boomerang US old channel line-up, which aired classic cartoons. Old Cartoon Network commercials are also broadcast on the channel, such as "Cartoons That Never Made It," Cartoon Network Groovies, and Boomerang Shorties. Cartoon Network (Latin American TV Channel)
Cartoon Network is a Latin American pay television channel distributed by Warner Bros. Discovery for the Latin American audience and the Caribbean. It is the Latin American version of the original Cartoon Network television channel in the United States. It is divided into five feeds, all originating from its central headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia, United States; four are in Spanish (Mexico, Argentina/Uruguay, Chile/Peru, Colombia/Venezuela/Central America) and the other is in Portuguese for Brazil. The feeds have different schedules. It primarily airs cartoons and animation, animated programming, marketed towards children and teens. Boomerang (Latin American TV Channel)
Boomerang was a 24-hour cable television channel owned by Warner Bros. Discovery under its International division. It was a localization of the original United States channel initially launched in 2001 and primarily carried classic Warner Bros. and Hanna-Barbera cartoons. In 2006 it was relaunched as a youth-oriented service. The network would relaunch once more in 2008, now focusing exclusively on teenagers, before becoming the first Boomerang feed in the world to undergo the 2014–15 worldwide rebrand on 28 September 2014. Cartoonito is a 24-hour cable television channel owned by Warner Bros. Discovery under its International division. Launched on 1 December 2021, it is a localization of the namesake preschool brand for Latin American audiences and airs programs aimed at children aged 2–6. History In October 2021, it was announced on SKY Brasil's lineup that Boomerang would be replaced by Cartoonito on 1 December. Discovery Kids (stylized as DK) is a Latin American pay television channel owned by Warner Bros. Discovery and headquartered in Miami, Florida, which started as a programming block on the Latin American version of Discovery Channel. It launched on 1 November 1996, with programming aimed for older children and preschoolers. It was owned by Discovery Networks Latin America and remains airing alongside Discovery Kids India. The entire programming is in either Spanish or Portuguese, depending on the region. Boomerang is an American cable television network and streaming service owned by Warner Bros. Discovery Networks, a subsidiary of Warner Bros. Discovery. Boomerang debuted in 1992 as a programming block on Cartoon Network, dedicated to classic animation from the WB library (including Warner Bros.
