Gabriel & Dresden
Gabriel & Dresden is an American electronic music duo comprising Josh Gabriel and Dave Dresden, formed in San Francisco, California. They collaborated from 2001 to 2008, then again from 2011 to the present. During that time, they have created numerous hit songs and remixes, some of which are considered classics. They won the coveted Winter Music Conference IDMA award for "Best American DJ" twice, in 2007 and 2008, the latter time on the same day that the group split up. The pair reunited in early 2011 and proceeded on a reunion tour, which began at Ruby Skye in San Francisco on March 4, 2011. The Egg (band)
The Egg are a British electronic dance music band, consisting of Ned Scott (keyboards), Maff Scott (drums), Paul Marshall (bass) and Matt White (lead guitar). History Founded in the early 1990s in Oxford, England, the Egg released its first EP ''Shopping'' (1995) on the independent record label, Cup of Tea Records. Having been signed by China Records, in 1996 the band released the album ''Albumen'' in the United States on Discovery Records in 1997. In 1998, the follow-up album, ''Travelator'', was released, produced by Tim Holmes of Death in Vegas. In 2000, the group recorded the theme tune to the ITV series, ''At Home with the Braithwaites''. Apparat (musician)
Sascha Ring (born 27 June 1978), better known by the stage name Apparat, is a German electronic musician. He was previously co-owner of Shitkatapult records. Starting out with dancefloor-oriented techno, he shifted focus towards ambient music, becoming "more interested in designing sounds than beats". He collaborates with Modeselektor under the name Moderat. Career Ring collaborated with Ellen Allien in 2003 on the album '' Berlinette'' and again in 2006 on the album ''Orchestra of Bubbles.'' In 2004, he recorded a John Peel session. The tracks from this session were rerecorded and reworked in the studio and released as ''Silizium EP'' in 2005, as a tribute to Peel. Jan Burton
Jan Burton is a Welsh record producer and vocalist, best known for his work with ex-Fluke member Mike Tournier in their joint project, Syntax. In December 2017, Burton announced that he was engaged in his first solo project. Ali Shirazinia ( fa, علی شیرازی‌نیا), commonly known by his stage name Dubfire, is an Iranian American house and techno DJ and producer. Prior to his solo career, Dubfire made up half of the duo Deep Dish. Dubfire's style is noticeably different from that of Deep Dish, consisting of techno rather than progressive house. Biography Dubfire was born in Iran and moved to the United States at the age of 7 with his father, mother and brother for his father to attend an American university. James Holden (producer)
James Alexander Goodale Holden (born 7 June 1979) is a British electronic music artist and DJ. After beginning his career as a DJ and producer, Holden has moved extensively into live performance and founded his own record label Border Community. Early career Holden grew up in Market Bosworth, Leicestershire, before studying mathematics at Oxford University. He started his career in 1999 at age 19 and swiftly gained wider recognition with the release of trance single "Horizons", which he created with the freeware software Buzz. This "crossover anthem of the summer of 1999" was picked up by Pete Tong, John Digweed and Nick Warren, quickly propelling Holden to a wider audience.
