Tooele County School District
Tooele County School District is a school district headquartered in Tooele, Utah. Its boundary is exactly that of Tooele County. History The district in question previously had a policy that allowed students from other school districts to attend Tooele County schools without prior permission. Additionally, the district allowed students who lived in Utah with other families, but whose parents lived outside of Utah, to attend Tooele County schools for free. However, in 1983, the district changed its policy and began requiring students in the former category to obtain permission from district officials before enrolling, and it started requiring the latter to pay tuition fees. Notably, sponsored international students were still permitted to attend for free. Fast forward to 1997, the board of trustees proposed a bond of $25 million to address the increase in student population in high schools. Tooele ( ) is a city in Tooele County in the U.S. state of Utah. The population was 35,742 at the 2020 census. It is the county seat of Tooele County. Tooele County ( ) is a county in the U.S. state of Utah. As of the 2010 United States Census, the population was 58,218. Its county seat and largest city is Tooele. The county was created in 1850 and organized the following year. Tooele County is part of the Salt Lake City, UT Metropolitan Statistical Area. A 2008 CNNMoney.com article identified Tooele as the U.S. county experiencing the greatest job growth since 2000. KSL Newsradio is a pair of radio stations serving the Salt Lake City, Utah region, consisting of the original AM station, KSL, licensed to Salt Lake City on 1160 kHz, and FM station KSL-FM, licensed to Midvale on 102.7 MHz. Dugway Schools or Dugway School is a K-12 school in Dugway, Utah, United States. The current principal is Bryce Eardely. The school is part of the Tooele County School District. The school mascot is the Mustang. Sports provided at DHS include baseball, track/field, cross-country, volleyball, and basketball. The school is most recognized for its Track and Field accomplishments. Wendover High School
Wendover is a market town and civil parish at the foot of the Chiltern Hills in Buckinghamshire, England. It is situated at the point where the main road across the Chilterns between London and Aylesbury intersects with the once important road along the foot of the Chilterns. Tooele High School is a secondary school located in Tooele, Utah, United States currently educating students in grades 9–12. Operated by the Tooele County School District, Tooele High enrolls approximately 1,800 students each year. The Tooele High mascot is the White Buffalo. In 1955 a new high school was behind the old building, while the older building continued to be used by Tooele County School District until its demolition in 1974.
