Too Young To Die?
''Too Young to Die?'' is a 1990 television movie starring Brad Pitt and Juliette Lewis. It touches on the debate concerning the death penalty. It is based on a true story. Three years later, Pitt and Lewis would reunite, portraying somewhat similar characters, in ''Kalifornia''. Plot Juliette Lewis plays Amanda, age 15, a girl who has always been let down by all the adults around her. Her mother and stepfather abandon her after she tells her mother about the sexual abuse her stepfather has inflicted on her. After an unsuccessful marriage, she leaves town and falls prey to a hustler, Billy (Brad Pitt). Park Jin-pyo (born 1966) is a South Korean film director and screenwriter. He directed ''Too Young to Die'' (2002), ''You Are My Sunshine (2005 film), You Are My Sunshine'' (2005), ''Voice of a Murderer'' (2007), ''Closer to Heaven (film), Closer to Heaven'' (2009), and ''Love Forecast'' (2015). Career Park Jin-pyo was born in Seoul in 1966. Upon graduation from Chung-Ang University's Film Department, he began working in television in 1991 as a television documentary, documentary producer and director, eventually making over 30 documentaries for Seoul Broadcasting System, SBS and ITV. "Too Young to Die" is a song by British funk and acid jazz band Jamiroquai, released as the second single from their debut studio album, ''Emergency on Planet Earth'' (1993). The original version of the track runs at 10:18; however, both the single and album versions were cut, running at 3:22 and 6:05, respectively. The single peaked at number 10 on the UK Singles Chart and reached the top 50 in France, Iceland, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Switzerland. The track's stems were made available to the public in March 2013 as part of a remix competition for the song; as such, there is an abundance of bootleg remixes to the song in addition to the official remixes. Lurlene McDaniel (born 1944 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is an American author who has written more than 70 young adult books. She is well known for writing about young adults struggling with mortality and chronic illness, a career that began as a therapeutic way to deal with the trauma when her son, then 3, was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes. Her characters have grappled with cancer, diabetes, organ failure, and the deaths of loved ones through disease or suicide.
