Tony Wright (musician)
Tony Wright (born 6 May 1968) is a British musician who is the lead singer of the British band Terrorvision and also the band Laika Dog. Early life Wright was born in Bradford to David Wright who was the owner of a Gallery in Bradford that showcased local artists. Originally wanting to become a Designer, Wright was convinced to take a Youth Training Scheme at a local printing firm. He met the other founding members of Terrorvision whilst working as a glass collector and barman in a local pub and the band began their music career as The Spoilt Bratz. Solo career In March 2014, Wright announced a solo acoustic project. In September 2014 he released his debut solo album ''Thoughts 'N' All''. The album was met with a positive review on PureRawk.com which called it "Down to Earth, unpretentious and easy to get on with". In August 2016, he released ''Walnut Dash''. Bradford
Bradford is a city and the administrative centre of the City of Bradford district in West Yorkshire, England. The city is in the Pennines' eastern foothills on the banks of the Bradford Beck. Bradford had a population of 349,561 at the 2011 census; the second-largest population centre in the county after Leeds, which is to the east of the city. Terrorvision
''TerrorVision'' is a 1986 American science fiction horror comedy film directed by Ted Nicolaou, produced and written by Albert and Charles Band and composed by Richard Band, all of whom would go on to found and work with Full Moon Features in 1989. ''TerrorVision'' was made by Empire International Pictures, the production company owned by Charles Band prior to Full Moon, and was released in February 1986. The story follows an alien creature sent to Earth, which ends up inside a household where three kids must take care of it to prevent it from going into a hungry rampage. Youth Training Scheme
The Youth Training Scheme (YTS) was the name in the United Kingdom of an on-the-job training course for school leavers aged 16 and 17 and was managed by the Manpower Services Commission. The scheme was first outlined in the 1980 white paper ''A New Training Initiative: A Programme for Action'', and it was brought into operation in 1983 to replace the Youth Opportunities Programme by the government of Margaret Thatcher. Initially lasting one year or six months, the scheme was amended in 1986 to be so that it could be extended to two years. The 1981 England riots encouraged that, by bringing into sharp focus the results of large numbers of unskilled unemployed finding their own solutions.
