Tony Trov
Tony Trov (born Anthony Trovarello 1983) is an American film maker, comic book creator and musician best known for the independent horror comedy ''Alpha Girls''. Early life Tony Trov is a native of Philadelphia PA and graduated from Girard Academic Music Program in 2001. Afterwards, he attended Temple University obtaining a degree in Mass Media. Career Trov's career started with film and television productions in the art department. Most notably TLC's ''Trading Spaces'' and several Bollywood films. In 2008, along with co-writer Johnny Zito, he won the March Zuda Comics competition with ''The Black Cherry Bombshells''. The duo's sophomore effort, ''La Morté Sisters'', was also purchased by Zuda Comics in 2009. Both comics were nominated for Harvey Awards in the Best Online Comic Category; 2009 and 2011 respectively. Moon Girl is a fictional character published by EC Comics from 1947 to 1949. Moon Girl is a character from the Golden Age of Comic Books and has since passed into the public domain. Her secret identity is Claire Lune, a junior high history teacher. Like DC Comics' Wonder Woman, Moon Girl was the princess of an isolated tribe of warrior women in Samarkand, and fought evil in her telepathically controlled flying moonship. Her powers derived from a moon rock. Her love interest was Prince Mengu, who tried to invade her kingdom in Samarkand, but became her companion and fellow teacher in America. South Fellini is an American film, graphic novel and apparel studio established by Tony Trov and Johnny Zito in 2010. History Starting in the comic book industry with DC Entertainment's Zuda Comics, South Fellini has also developed graphic novels and films for Image Comics, Comixology, Ford Automotive, Red 5 Comics, and High Treason Pictures. Trov, Zito, and illustrator Mark A. Fionda Jr. created the limited edition comic ''Carnivale De Robotique'' for the 2009 Indy Skip Week. The Swimmers
The Swimmers are an American four-piece rock band from Philadelphia and include drums, guitar, keyboard (or synth more recently), and bass. They are signed to Drexel University's MAD Dragon Records and released their first album, ''Fighting Trees'' in 2008. It garnered rave reviews from ''The Philadelphia Inquirer'', ''Magnet'', '' The Tripwire'' and ''Time Out Chicago''. For their second record, The Swimmers started fresh by building a home studio and producing and recording it themselves.
