Tony Lip
Frank Anthony Vallelonga Sr. (July 30, 1930 – January 4, 2013), better known by his stage name Tony Lip, was an American actor. He was best known for his portrayal of crime boss Carmine Lupertazzi in the HBO series, ''The Sopranos''. Lip portrayed real-life Bonanno crime family mobster Philip Giaccone in ''Donnie Brasco (film), Donnie Brasco'', and real-life Lucchese crime family mobster Francesco Manzo in ''Goodfellas''. It was at the Copacabana (nightclub), Copacabana nightclub that he first met Francis Ford Coppola and Louis DiGiamo, leading to a small role in ''The Godfather'', his film debut. He also co-wrote the book ''Shut Up and Eat!'' (2005). His life in the early 1960s, when he was the driver and bodyguard for the black classical pianist Don Shirley, was dramatized in the 2018 film, ''Green Book (film), Green Book'', in which he was portrayed by Viggo Mortensen. Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania
Beaver Falls is a city in Beaver County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 9,005 at the 2020 census. Located 31 miles (50 km) northwest of Pittsburgh, the city lies along the Beaver River, six miles (9 km) north of its confluence with the Ohio River. It is a part of the Pittsburgh metropolitan area. History The area of present-day Beaver Falls was first mentioned in 1770 in the journals of David Zeisberger, a Moravian Church missionary who eventually settled in present-day Lawrence County. A Lenape chief named Pakanke took Zeisberger to the valley surrounding the Beaver River, where the Lenape owned a large tract of open land which Zeisberger was given access to. In April 1770, Zeisberger and his followers set out in 16 canoes down the Allegheny and Ohio rivers, reaching the mouth of the Beaver three days later. ''The Record'' (also called ''The North Jersey Record'', ''The Bergen Record'', ''The Sunday Record'' (Sunday edition) and formerly ''The Bergen Evening Record'') is a newspaper in New Jersey, United States. Serving Bergen, Essex, Hudson and Passaic counties in northern New Jersey, it has the second-largest circulation of the state's daily newspapers, behind ''The Star-Ledger''. ''The Record'' was under the ownership of the Borg family from 1930 to 2016, and the family went on to form North Jersey Media Group, which eventually bought its competitor, the ''Herald News''. Both papers are now owned by Gannett Company, which purchased the Borgs' media assets in July 2016. For years, ''The Record'' had its primary offices in Hackensack with a bureau in Wayne.
