Antonio Jeremiah "Tony" Leone Larios (born April 28, 2004) is a professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Major League Soccer club Los Angeles FC. Born in the United States, he represented the Mexico national under-20 team. Club career Born in Long Beach, California, Leone began his career with Total Futbol Academy before joining the youth setup of Major League Soccer club Los Angeles FC. Leone rose through the ranks of the club before signing a professional homegrown player contract alongside fellow Mexican-American teammates Christian Torres and Erik Dueñas on July 8, 2020. Las Vegas Lights (loan) On May 22, 2021, Leone was loaned out to Los Angeles FC's USL Championship affiliate Las Vegas Lights for their match against Phoenix Rising. In the sport of association football, fouls and misconduct are acts committed by players which are deemed by the referee to be unfair and are subsequently penalised. The CONCACAF Under-20 Championship is the second longest running international association football event in the North America, Central America and the Caribbean region, CONCACAF, and is the qualification tournament for the FIFA U-20 World Cup. The format of the tournament has undergone changes over the years. The 2020 Los Angeles FC season was the club's third season in Major League Soccer, the top tier of the American soccer pyramid. The association football tournament at the 2024 Summer Olympics will be held from 24 July to 10 August 2024 in France. In addition to the Olympic host city of Paris, matches will also be played in Bordeaux, Décines-Charpieu, Marseille, Nantes, Nice and Saint-Étienne. The 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup will be the 23rd edition of the FIFA U-20 World Cup, the biennial international men's youth football championship contested by the under-20 national teams of the member associations of FIFA, since its inception in 1977 as the FIFA World Youth Championship. 2022 CONCACAF U-20 Championship
The 2022 CONCACAF Under-20 Championship will be the 7th edition of the CONCACAF Under-20 Championship (28th edition if all eras included), the men's under-20 international football tournament organized by CONCACAF. It will be hosted in Honduras, in the cities of San Pedro Sula and Tegucigalpa. On 16 September 2021, a new format was announced, in which 19 member associations (all ranked 17 and below in the CONCACAF men’s under-20 rankings) will have to play a qualifying tournament that will take place from 5 to 13 November 2021 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Luis Ernesto Pérez Gómez (born 12 January 1981) is a Mexican former professional footballer and current manager. Club career Pérez debuted in the Primera División with Necaxa in the 1999 Invierno season, playing his first game 21 September in a 3–1 victory against Santos Laguna. Pérez finished the season having played in 11 games, and by the beginning of the next year had a firm grip of the starting position. Pérez was named rookie of the tournament at the end of the season. Pérez played the next four years with Necaxa, until, to the surprise of many, was sold to Monterrey for the Clausura 2003, where he led Monterrey to win the championship by defeating Morelia at Estadio Morelos in Morelia.
