Tony Gibson (American Football)
Tony Gibson (born October 12, 1972) is an American football coach who currently serves as the defensive coordinator and linebackers coach at North Carolina State University. He was previously the defensive coordinator at West Virginia and assistant head coach at Michigan. College years Gibson attended Glenville State from 1991 to 1994 where he played as a defensive back, winning two WVIAC championships. Coaching career Gibson got his start in college coaching at his alma mater as a defensive backs coach. In 2001, he broke into the FBS ranks as the defensive backs coach at West Virginia, a job he would hold until 2007. In 2008, when West Virginia head coach Rich Rodriguez was hired to the same job at Michigan, he brought Gibson with him to serve as assistant head coach, special teams and defensive backs coach. North Carolina State University

Neal Brown
Neal Brown (born March 11, 1980) is an American college football coach and former player. He is the head football coach at West Virginia University. Brown was previously the head coach at Troy University from 2015 to 2018. Brown also previously served as the offensive coordinator at Troy (2008–2009), Texas Tech University (2010–2012), and the University of Kentucky (2013–2014). Early years Brown attended Boyle County High School in Danville, Kentucky, where he was an all-state wide receiver. Dana Carl Holgorsen (born June 21, 1971) is the head football coach at the University of Houston. He was the head coach at West Virginia University from 2011 to 2018. During his coaching career he has served under coaches such as Hal Mumme, Mike Leach, Kevin Sumlin, and Mike Gundy. Safety is a position in gridiron football on the American football positions#Defense, defense. The safeties are defensive backs who line up ten to fifteen yards from the line of scrimmage. There are two variations of the position: the free safety and the strong safety. Their duties depend on the defensive scheme. Richard Alan Rodriguez (; born May 24, 1963), also known as Rich Rod, is an American football coach and former player. He is currently the head coach at Jacksonville State University. Rodriguez previously was the head football coach at Salem University (1988), Glenville State College (1990–1996), West Virginia University (2001–2007), the University of Michigan (2008–2010), and the University of Arizona (2012–2017). West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference
The West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WVIAC) was a collegiate athletic conference which historically operated exclusively in the state of West Virginia, but briefly had one Kentucky member in its early years, and expanded into Pennsylvania in its final years. In gridiron football, defensive backs (DBs), also called the secondary, are the players on the defensive side of the ball who play farthest back from the line of scrimmage. They are distinguished from the other two sets of defensive players, the defensive linemen who play directly on the line of scrimmage, and the linebackers, who play in the middle of the defense, between the defensive line and the defensive backs.
