Tony Fulton (born September 29, 1972) is a politician and businessman serving as the tax commissioner of Nebraska. He previously represented a Lincoln district in the Nebraska Legislature from 2007 to 2013. Early life and education Born in Auburn, Nebraska, Fulton graduated from Auburn Senior High School in 1990. He attended the University of Nebraska–Lincoln (UNL), where he studied engineering. Before completing his degree, he took two years off to study philosophy through Kansas Newman University and Mount St. Mary's University. Nebraska Department Of Revenue
The Nebraska Department of Revenue is an agency of the Nebraska state government responsible for the administration of state revenue and tax programs. The Nebraska Constitution prohibits use of a property tax, thus most revenue is collected from a state sales tax, use taxes, and a state income tax. The department also oversees the Nebraska Lottery and "Charitable Gaming". The department headquarters are located at the State Office Building in Lincoln, Nebraska. Auburn High School, formerly Auburn Senior High School, is a public high school in Auburn, Washington, United States, founded in 1903. The school is situated on of land in downtown Auburn. Its campus includes the Auburn Performing Arts Center (PAC), the Auburn School District Swimming Pool, Auburn Memorial Stadium (also known as Troy Field), tennis courts, softball field and baseball field. Beginning with the 2014-2015 school year, staff and students will move into the new Auburn High School located at 711 East Main Street in Auburn. Construction of the new school building began on February 24, 2013, following the November 2012 Bond Election, in which Auburn District voters authorized the selling of bonds to fund the new high school building. Don Stenberg
Don Stenberg (born September 30, 1948) is an American lawyer and politician who served as the 31st Attorney General of Nebraska from 1991 to 2003 and 43rd Treasurer of Nebraska from 2011 to 2019. A member of the Republican Party, he previously was legal counsel to Governor Charles Thone from 1979 to 1983. He unsuccessfully ran for Lieutenant Governor of Nebraska in 1978; Attorney General of Nebraska in 1986; and the United States Senate in 1996, 2000, 2006, and 2012. David Eugene Heineman (born May 12, 1948) is an American politician who served as the 39th governor of Nebraska from 2005 to 2015. Newman University is a private Roman Catholic university in Wichita, Kansas. It is named for John Henry Newman and was founded by the Adorers of the Blood of Christ in 1933. History The college was founded in 1933 by the Adorers of the Blood of Christ as Sacred Heart Junior College. Courses were offered for women only, initially offering degrees in home economics, nursing, teaching, and secretarial science. The college added more facilities and courses during the 1950s and began accepting male students on a limited basis in 1959.
