Tony Alexander Adams (born 10 October 1966) is an English former football manager and player. Adams played for Arsenal and England, captaining both teams. He spent his entire playing career of 19 years as a centre back at Arsenal, making 672 total appearances. He is considered one of the greatest Arsenal players of all time by the club's own fans and was included in the Football League 100 Legends. With Arsenal, he won four top flight division titles, uniquely captaining a title-winning team in three different decades, three FA Cups, two Football League Cups, a UEFA Cup Winners' Cup, and two FA Community Shields. A statue honouring Adams was unveiled at Emirates stadium on 9 December 2011, along with statues of Thierry Henry and Herbert Chapman. Rock Art And The X-Ray Style
''Rock Art and the X-Ray Style'' is the debut album by Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros, released on 18 October 1999. This album featured the band in its first incarnation: Joe Strummer and Antony Genn on guitar and vocals, Martin Slattery playing keyboards and guitar, Steve "Smiley" Barnard on drums, Pablo Cook on other percussion instruments, and Scott Shields on bass. Richard Flack also did engineering on the album. The record marked Strummer's re-emergence from a long absence in the music scene, his last record being 1989's '' Earthquake Weather'', a decade earlier. The album begins with "Tony Adams," a track which sounds not unlike Strummer's previous work with The Clash. Saxophone riffs are juxtaposed with reggae inspired guitar, as Strummer recites lyrics detailing a catastrophe hitting New York City. Anthony Stephen Adams (born 11 December 1940) is a Welsh actor of English and Norwegian descent, known for his performances in two British television soap operas. Early life Adams was born on 11 December 1940 in Anglesey, Wales, to Winifred Brown, a sportswoman and aviator. In 1930, she had been the first woman to win the King's Cup Air Race around England. Adams trained as an actor at the Italia Conti Stage School. As a child, he appeared on the London stage, Other stage appearances included a starring role opposite Cheryl Kennedy in a West End revival of '' The Boy Friend'', and he also appeared on the original cast album released with this production. Anthony Patrick Adams (15 February 1953 – 22 October 2005) was an Irish film and theatrical producer. He produced numerous films for writer/director Blake Edwards, including six ''Pink Panther'' films and '' 10''. He produced '' Victor/Victoria'' as a film and a Broadway musical. Off-Broadway, he produced ''The Immigrant'' and ''Minor Demons''. Early life Adams was born in Dublin. His father had opened one of the first cinemas in rural Ireland, in Derrinturn, in the 1940s. Tony Adams attended Derrinturn National school before moving at the age of 12 to Dún Laoghaire, County Dublin and attended CBS Eblana.
