Toni Schneiders
Toni Schneiders (May 13, 1920 – August 4, 2006) was a German photographer. Life and career Toni Schneiders took up an apprenticeship as a photographer at ''Menzel Studio'' in Koblenz in 1935 graduating with a master's certificate in 1938. During the Second World War he was drafted and deployed as war correspondent in France and Italy. After the war, he returned to Koblenz and photographed reportages as well as advertising and landscape photographs. In 1946 he moved to Meersburg, where he opened a photo studio in 1948. In 1949 Schneiders went to Lindau as an independent photojournalist, where he lived and worked with his wife Ingeborg from 1952 until his death in 2006. His archive is housed in the F. C. Gundlach Foundation in Hamburg, his war photography in the German Federal Archive in Koblenz. Wolfgang Reisewitz
Wolfgang is a German male given name traditionally popular in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The name is a combination of the Old High German words ''wolf'', meaning "wolf", and ''gang'', meaning "path", "journey", "travel". Besides the regular "wolf", the first element also occurs in Old High German as the combining form "-olf". The earliest reference of the name being used was in the 8th century. The name was also attested as "Vulfgang" in the Reichenauer Verbrüderungsbuch in the 9th century. The earliest recorded famous bearer of the name was a tenth-century Saint Wolfgang of Regensburg. Otto Steinert
Otto Steinert (12 July 1915 – 3 March 1978) was a German photographer. Life and work Born in Saarbrücken, Germany, Steinert was a medical doctor by profession and was self-taught in photography. After World War II, he initially worked for the State School for Art and Craft (''Staatliche Schule für Kunst und Handwerk'', today HTW) in Saarbrücken. He was the founder of the Fotoform photography group. From 1959, he taught at the Folkwang Hochschule design school in Essen, where he later died. Peter Keetman
Peter Keetman (April 27, 1916 – March 8, 2005) was a German photographer. Life and career Peter Keetman was born in 1916 in Elberfeld. He was part of a very wealthy family and his father Alfred Keetman was bank director of the banking house J. Wichelhaus P. Sohn. Peter Keetman lived with his wife Esa in Prien, Breitbrunn and Marquartstein in Chiemgau (Upper Bavaria). From 1935 to 1937 Keetman attended the Bayerische Staatslehranstalt für Lichtbildwesen (later called: Staatliche Fachakademie für Fotodesign Münch]). After graduating he became assistant to industrial and portrait photographer Gertrud Hesse in Duisburg and to industrial photographer Carl Heinz Schmeck in Aachen. In 1940 he was called up as a railway pioneer and returned from the war in 1944 seriously injured. From 1947 to 1948 he attended the master class of the Bayerische Staatslehranstalt für Lichtbildwesen. Siegfried Lauterwasser (16 April 1913 – 7 September 2000) was a German photographer. He was one of the most important representatives of ''subjective photography'' and a member of the group ''fotoform'', which was influential in the post-war period. He continued the photographic tradition of his father Alexander Lauterwasser (1878-1933) and his grandfather Alexander Lauterwasser (1846-1923). Life Lauterwasser was born in Überlingen. After an apprenticeship as a photographer in his native town with his father Alexander Lauterwasser (1928/1929), he attended the Höhere Berufsschule für Grafik und gestaltendes Gewerbe in Frankfurt from 1929 to 1931. In 1933, he took over his father's photo studio, and in 1937 he passed the master craftsman's examination. During the Second World War, Lauterwasser was a photojournalist for the Wehrmacht Propaganda Troops.
