Tone Røst Heimlund
Tone Heimlund (born 24 May 1985) is a Norwegian retired association football, football midfielder who played for IF Fløya, Fløya and the Norwegian national football team, Norwegian national team. Club career Heimlund had a breakout season with IF Fløya, Fløya scoring 18 goals in the 2005 Toppserien, Toppserien in 2005. A serious knee injury ended Heimlund's promising career in 2007. Heimlund took up competitive Cross-country skiing (sport), cross-country skiing as an alternative in 2009 in order to still compete in sports. International career Youth Heimlund also participated at the 2003 UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship. Heimlund efforts helped Norway reach the final ultimately losing to France. Senior Heimlund was selected as part of the Norwegian squad at the UEFA Women's Euro 2005, 2005 European Championships. IF Fløya
Idrettsforeningen Fløya is a Norway, Norwegian football (soccer), football club from the city of Tromsø. The club was founded on 22 June 1922 and named after the Fløya mountain which overlooks Tromsø centre. The women's team has got two third-place finishes in Toppserien, in Toppserien 2004, 2004 and Toppserien 2005, 2005, as its best ever achievements. On 16 December 2020, the women's team merged with Tromsø IL under the name of TIL 2020. The new name was taken into effect starting from the 2022 Norwegian First Division (women), 2022 season. The men's team plays in the Norwegian Third Division, the fourth tier in the Norwegian football league system. The famous Norwegian Striker (association football), striker Rune Lange started his career in IF Fløya.
