Tomrefjorden
Tomrefjorden is a fjord in Vestnes Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The long fjord branches off of the main Romsdalsfjorden and it is one of the two big fjords that cut into the municipality. The fjord is located about west of the village of Vestnes. The Norwegian County Road 661 follows the shoreline around most of the fjord and it passes through the villages of Fiksdal (on the western shore), Tomra (on the southern shore), and Vik (on the eastern shore). Vestnes Municipality
Vestnes is a municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. Vestnes is part of the traditional district of Romsdal. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Vestnes. Other villages in the municipality include Vikebukt, Vik, Vågstranda, Øverås, Fiksdal, Tomrefjord, and Tresfjord. The area is known for nature and outdoor pursuits, and has a long history in ship building and maritime crafts. Romsdalsfjorden
Romsdalsfjord or Romsdal Fjord ( no, Romsdalsfjorden) is the ninth-longest fjord in Norway. It is long and located in the Romsdal district of Møre og Romsdal county. It flows through the municipalities of Molde, Ålesund, Vestnes, and Rauma. The deepest point in the fjord is just southwest of the town of Molde, where it is deep. Romsdal is a traditional district in the Norwegian county Møre og Romsdal, located between Nordmøre and Sunnmøre. The district of Romsdal comprises Aukra, Fræna, Midsund, Molde, Nesset, Rauma, Sandøy, and Vestnes. It is named after the valley of Romsdalen, which covers part of Rauma. Vestnes (sometimes called ''Helland'') is the administrative centre of Vestnes Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The village is located on the western shore of the Tresfjorden, near where the fjord empties into the main Romsdalsfjord. The village lies along the European route E39 highway. The village has a population (2018) of 2,428 and a population density of . The villages of Vik and Tomra lie about to the southwest, the village of Tresfjord lies about to the south, and the village of Vikebukt lies directly across the Tresfjorden from Vestnes.
