Tommy Redding
Thomas Redding (born January 24, 1997) is an American soccer player who plays as a defender. Club career Orlando City Born in San Diego, California and growing up in Oviedo, Florida, Redding began his youth career with IMG Soccer Academy and Chicago Magic PSG in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy. His play at the youth level attracted the interest of Orlando City and on March 11, 2014, Redding signed both a USL Pro contract and an MLS contract with Orlando City becoming the club's first ever homegrown player. On May 14, 2014, Redding made his professional debut with Orlando City in the United Soccer League, starting in a 1–0 victory over Arizona United. He ended the season appearing in 18 matches for the club. On July 30, 2015, Redding was loaned to Wilmington Hammerheads FC. He only appeared in one match for Wilmington during his brief loan spell. Sacha Bryan Kljestan (; born September 9, 1985) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder for Major League Soccer club LA Galaxy. Youth and college Kljestan was raised in Huntington Beach, California, and played for the Region IV Olympic Development Program team. He played three years of college soccer at Seton Hall University in New Jersey under former United States national team coach Manfred Schellscheidt. Carlos Augusto Rivas Murillo (born 15 April 1994) is a Colombian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Juan Aurich. Plantar fasciitis or plantar heel pain (PHP) is a disorder of the plantar fascia, which is the connective tissue which supports the arch of the foot. It results in pain in the heel and bottom of the foot that is usually most severe with the first steps of the day or following a period of rest. Pain is also frequently brought on by bending the foot and toes up towards the shin. The pain typically comes on gradually, and it affects both feet in about one-third of cases. The cause of plantar fasciitis is not entirely clear. Risk factors include overuse, such as from long periods of standing, an increase in exercise, and obesity. Homegrown Player Rule (Major League Soccer)
The Homegrown Player Rule is a Major League Soccer program that allows MLS teams to sign local players from their own development academies directly to MLS first team rosters. Before the creation of the rule in 2008, every player entering Major League Soccer would have to be assigned through one of the existing MLS player allocation processes, such as the MLS SuperDraft. MLS roster rules allow a team to sign players to contracts similar to Generation adidas contracts, which do not count against the MLS salary budget and may earn a much higher salary than the league minimum. MLS has since removed this wording from the roster rules. That means homegrown players will not count against the salary budget only if they are registered using supplemental roster slots, but will still count against the salary budget if they are registered using senior roster slots.
