Tommy Rainone (born January 8, 1980) is an American professional boxer. Early life Rainone's love affair with boxing began at the age of seven. After watching Rocky for the first time, the Plainview, NY, Plainview Long Island native began to seek out a gym where he could pursue the sport that had suddenly captivated him. His search would prove fruitless until the age of 17 when he stepped into the Westbury Boxing Club. Boxing couldn't have entered his life at a more appropriate time in his life. “There’s no question about it, I was definitely able to channel a lot of my anger as a youth into boxing." Elmont is an unincorporated hamlet and census-designated place (CDP) located in northwestern Hempstead in Nassau County, New York, United States, along its border with the borough of Queens in New York City. The population was 35,265 at the 2020 census. The hamlet is famous for Belmont Park which hosts the Belmont Stakes, the third leg of the prestigious Triple Crown of thoroughbred racing. Yuri Foreman (born August 5, 1980) is an Israeli professional boxer who held the WBA super welterweight title from 2009 to 2010. He was born in Gomel, Belarus, but currently fights out of Brooklyn, New York. Foreman has also pursued Jewish religious studies during his boxing career, and in 2014 was ordained as a rabbi.
