Tomislav Barbarić
Tomislav Barbarić (; born 29 March 1989) is a Croatian retired footballer who played as a defender. Club career Barbarić came through the youth ranks of Dinamo Zagreb, before joining the senior squad during the Prva HNL winter break in 2008. He made 5 appearances, of which on three occasions he started in the first-eleven. During the summer transfer window, he agreed to join Dinamo's affiliate Lokomotiva on a six–months loan. He featured in 13 out of 15 league matches and scored 1 goal before he returned to Dinamo in January 2009. By the end of the season he appeared 6 times in the league and 2 times in Croatian Cup. Barbarić established himself as a first–team regular at the start of the 2009–10 season, as the centre–back Robert Kovač missed all of the early season matches due to an injury. The Croatia national under-20 football team is the national under-20 football team of Croatia and is controlled by the Croatian Football Federation, the governing body for football in Croatia. The Hrvatska nogometna liga () ( en, Croatian football league), also known as HNL or for sponsorship reasons the SuperSport HNL, is the top Croatian professional football league competition, established in 1992. Previously, it was called Prva Hrvatska nogometna liga (First Croatian Football League), but a league structure reorganization from 2022–23 led to name changes for the three top league levels. Croatian Football Cup
The Hrvatski nogometni kup ( eng, Croatian football cup), also colloquially known as Rabuzinovo sunce (), is an annually held football tournament for Croatian football clubs and is the second most important competition in Croatian football after the HNL championship. It is governed by the Croatian Football Federation (HNS) and usually runs from late August to late May. Cup winners automatically qualify for next season's UEFA Europa Conference League, except when cup winners are also Prva HNL champions, in which case their berth in the Europa Conference League goes to the best placed team in the Prva HNL who haven't qualified for the UEFA competitions through their league performance.
