Tomasz Dedek
Tomasz Michał Dedek (born 20 September 1957 in Rawa Mazowiecka) is a Polish film and theatre actor. Biography In 1979 he starred in the film ''Godzina "W"'' and gained great notoriety by playing the role of a shooter named "Eagle" (pol. Orzeł). In 1981 he graduated from the Acting Department of the Aleksander Zelwerowicz National Academy of Dramatic Art in Warsaw. In the same year he became an actor in the Ateneum Theatre in Warsaw. He also became well known for playing Jędrula Kossoń, Alutka's husband, in '' Rodzina zastępcza''. Dedek currently stars on screen in films and TV series. On 4 November 2007 Dedek publicly announced his admission to being a secret collaborator of the Służba Bezpieczeństwa (a communist internal security service during the time of the Polish People's Republic) with the nickname "Papkin". Rawa Mazowiecka
Rawa Mazowiecka is a town in central Poland, with 17,193 inhabitants (2020). It lies in the Łódź Voivodeship and is the capital of the Rawa County. From 1562 the city hosted the ''Rawa Treasury'' for the Polish army. During an excavation in 1948, a hoard wealth deposit dating from 600 BC was found containing 4 underground rooms with barrels of gold and silver. A smaller treasure was found containing mainly bronze artefacts from the Trzciniec culture, dating from around 1700 BC. History Rawa has a long and rich history. First mentioned in 1288, it received city rights in 1321. Filmweb is an online database of information related to films, television series, actors and film crew personnel. Since 2011, the database also contains video games. Filmweb was launched on March 18, 1998. It is a Polish-language site, and the largest Polish film database. History Filmweb was created by Artur Gortych, and launched on March 18, 1998. On January 20, 2000, it became the first Polish website available through Wireless Application Protocol. In 2005, Filmweb PRO (aimed at entertainment professionals) was launched. On May 20, 2010, the beta version of the website was launched, and Filmweb also started to use a new algorithm, called Gustomierz (''Tastemeter''). Registered users, that have rated at least 50 movies, are able to see how much particular movie is supposed to be liked by them and to find taste similar users.
