Tomasz Bonin
Tomasz "The Polish Hammer" Bonin (born 9 November 1973) is a Polish heavyweight boxer. Career Bonin has a professional record of 41-3 but was KO'd twice when stepping up. He won his first 26 professional fights, winning the Polish International Heavyweight title and subsequently defending it on 3 occasions, as well as beating boxers such as Garing Lane, Gary Winmon, Dirk Wallyn, Robert Šulgan, Asmir Vojnovic and Antoine Palatis. His first loss was to Audley Harrison when he challenged for the World Boxing Foundation (WBFo) heavyweight title in 2004. He then fought his way up to rank 11 by the WBC, then in 2007 lost to David Haye, who dropped Bonin 3 times in the first round and a 'slip' before the referee called an end to the fight for Bonin's safety. Tczew
Tczew (, csb, Dërszewò; formerly ) is a city on the Vistula River in Pomerelia, Eastern Pomerania, Kociewie, northern Poland with 59,111 inhabitants (December 2021). Orthodox Stance
In combat sports such as boxing, an orthodox stance is one in which the boxer places their left foot farther in front of the right foot, thus having their weaker side closer to the opponent. Because it favors the stronger, dominant side (often the right side; see laterality), the orthodox stance is the most common stance in boxing and MMA. It is mostly used by right-handed boxers. Many boxing champions have fought in an orthodox stance. Alternative stances The corresponding designation for a left-handed boxer is southpaw and is generally a mirror image of the orthodox stance. Knockout
A knockout (abbreviated to KO or K.O.) is a fight-ending, winning criterion in several full-contact combat sports, such as boxing, kickboxing, muay thai, mixed martial arts, karate, some forms of taekwondo and other sports involving striking, as well as fighting-based video games. A full knockout is considered any legal strike or combination thereof that renders an opponent unable to continue fighting. Audley Harrison
Audley Hugh Harrison, (born 26 October 1971) is a British former professional boxer who competed from 2001 to 2013. As an amateur he represented Great Britain at the 2000 Olympics, winning a gold medal in the super-heavyweight division and becoming the first ever British boxer to win Olympic gold in that division. Harrison turned professional the following year after signing a contract with BBC Sport, and went on to have seventeen fights on the network before their cancellation of all boxing broadcasts. David Haye
David Deron Haye (born 13 October 1980) is a British former professional boxer who competed between 2002 and 2018. He held multiple world championships in two weight classes, and was the first British boxer to reach the final of the World Amateur Boxing Championships, where he won a silver medal in 2001. As a professional, Haye became a unified cruiserweight world champion in 2008, winning three of the four major world titles, as well as the ''Ring'' magazine and lineal titles. Andrzej Wawrzyk (born 26 September 1987) is a Polish heavyweight boxer. He challenged once for the WBA (Regular) world heavyweight title in 2013.
